Any word on how this will effect scheduling? I can't imagine a season without Michigan/Ohio State.

I believe each team will have an "annual crossover" opponent so for example, OSU-Mich, MSU-PSU, Iowa-Wisc will happen every year still.

I would wager that there will be several years where OSU-Michigan is played in back to back games as the rivalry, then the conference championship.

That was a sad day. I really thought Dauber had "head coach" written all over him. :ohno: :ohno:

My understanding is that the rivalry game will be moved to mid-September... :ohno: :ohno:

Any chance Michigan-Nebraska turns into a bigger game??

Kinda disappointed Big Blue & Big Red will be making less trips to Happy Valley, road trip time.

I would take that wager.

The SEC is 0-for-18 since 1992 in having protected, cross-division rivals in a Championship Game rematch.
The ACC is for 0-for-5 since 2005 in having Miami and Florida State in a Championship Game rematch.
The Big 12 is 1-for-14 since 1996 in having Oklahoma and Nebraska in a Championship Game rematch.

And to answer some people's question, the OSU Mich game will still be the last game of the year.

No worries. Per CSN-Philly this morning, Nebraska will be Penn State's annual rivalry game. You'll still be seeing a little less of Michigan though.

On the whole that should make Penn St fans happy - they haven't had the best of success against Michigan over the years.
