Danes looking pretty good actually. Conservative offense. Solid defense. Can't ask for anything more the first quarter of the season. :thumb:

I can't believe it either. Just look at what Treister did last year!

I have to believe we'll see Treister in the 2nd half.

Yeah, he showed some signs last year of being really good. And he's got 3 years left. :thumb:

Agreed.

Danes D is shockingly real good with only 3 returnees.

DiLella looks strong.

Danes should be up at least 10.

You don't know Maine's coaches very well.......they've got something to prove.

Maine seriously needs a new OC.......he's been painfully horrible over numerous seasons with his playcalling.

Yah...dreads are looking sick.

Smith just owned the entire Maine D on a counter.

And boom goes the dynamite.

Albany started churning yards....and Albany fumble. Play under discussion.

Smith ruled down on the play....no fumble. Albany 2nd and 5.

I am in shock over how well the Albany D has played. It is like they haven't missed a beat with the loss of 8 guys...including a bunch of all-NEC'ers.

Albany has had most, if not all, of the scoring opportunities, holding the ball for nearly 22 minutes.

I suspect Maine will come out flying in the 2nd.

At the half:

Albany 3
Maine 0

Tough to tell but it looked like Kirchner stayed in. Two officials right there though to call him out.
