Montana vs Western State...

Post by Shellin »

Griz lead 21-0, 2 minutes into the game. Scored on 3 plays in the first offensive possession and have now returned 2 interceptions for TDs. Clearly this is going to be a nail biter.

28-2 at the end of 1. Not a good sign if a bottom-tier D-II team can bitch UM's O-line, even if they were backed up.

The safety is good for a chuckle, but it sounds like Montana is doing exactly what they should in this beatdown.

fumbled handoff in the end zone. The QB had to fall on it.

More like Montana's D. The offense has been struggling. Mostly self inflicted damage though. Good team to work the kinks out considering it is a new coach and offensive scheme.

The next two weeks vs Cal Poly and Eastern will be where we see how the offense is doing.

Offense is pulling it together now. 42-2 6:49 in the 2nd qtr.

Time to sit all the starters and Roper. Lets see the 2nd and 3rd string.

From a sportsmanship standpoint, we should probably sit those guys in the second half....but I wouldn't mind 1 more series for Selle and Roper each, at least, after halftime just to try to work out some more of the kinks. No sense tossing Zapata in for the entire second half.

No reason not to play the starters a half, especially when two of the TD's aren't because of Montana's offense.

even more reason to play them. Half the points aren't offensive.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure the three pick-6's were offensive to Western State players/fans.
