Can't remember, but it was a freshman from Missoula and his first play for the Griz. Huge bummer.

Blown assignments are just part of sloppy play in the first game, its expected more on offense than on defense as it takes more time for an offense to gel and get used to playing together especially in game scenarios. That being said, the defense played tremendously well (i'd sure hope so playing whatever state) but you cant seriously think that montana wont have a lot of those offensive kinks worked out by the time the griz come into cheney.... If you think that you're gonna walk away with that game then you must be

I don't think that EWU will walk away with that game, and I don't think the Griz will either. I think it will be a hard fought game between two of the top teams not only in the Big Sky, but in all of FCS.

Agreed, Griz looked good, but, I'm not sure if I'd be beating my chest about beating a really bad Division II team.
