That Michigan team went on to finish second (I believe) in the B10 and beat Florida in a bowl game that year. Should have finished the season in the top 10 but didn't due to the losses in the first two weeks.
You obviously don't know that the SEC is the best conference in America.Yeah no way you can compare this win against App over Michigan. Michigan was ranked fifth in the country and was littered with stars (Henne, Jake Long, Manningham, Hart). Not to mention that team went on to beat Florida in their bowl game, and if my memory serves me right they were the only team to beat Tebow in a bowl game in his career. BUT, hats off to JSU - a great win for their program and for FCS in general. Congrats to the Gamecocks and their fans - enjoy it!!!
No way does any team from any other conference come close to the BEST teams in the SEC! 
Even lowly Ole Miss is much much better than Michigan! C'mon folks look at the top tens year after year..look at the national champions the past ten years! This Jacksonville upset was so much bigger than the APP. game by a long shot!
