Could be the same way with Montana. I think they lost the same amount of starters and have a new coach. I think if this years is the year someone might have a chance to replace the Griz as champs in the Big SKy.UNI31f wrote:Losing the coach and something like 18 starters from last year will do that.JMUpurplehazed wrote:Caa homerism: Interesting how many different teams are picked to win the caa and a team missing from the list won the NC two years ago.

BSB: You're drinking the EWU Kool-Aid. The Griz have a history of changing coaches and not missing a beat. The smart money is on them to not falter.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Montana lost 12 starters, not 18. They return 5 on each side of the ball (6 including the kickers).BigSkyBears wrote:Could be the same way with Montana. Re: Pick the Conference Champions Contest
Because I'm so old, and a HOF/ICON that's hangin' on by a thread, can I please just choose one conference, and make a prediction on who the winner will be...and still be eligible to win a coveted NAU t-shirt of my choice?

Re: Pick the Conference Champions Contest
I know im gonna take some heat for the homer pick, but im gonna chalk it up to a little strategy considering everyone else basically picked the griz. Plus I just cant force myself to root for the evil empire, even though it’s the no brainer pick and an nau shirt is at stake.

Re: Pick the Conference Champions Contest
Seconded. Between Richmond in the MEAC and YSU in the Ohio Valley, along with a lame ass Cow Poly reference this is a damn joke. Also, no one knows who Sacred City is other than you. You say it a lot, but that doesn' tmake it a real schoolbandl wrote:I (bowel) move(ment) to disqualify SH's ballot.SuperHornet wrote: Big Sky Sacred City

On December 12, 1775 the Continental Congress created a Battalion of minuteman from the three counties in Delaware. Kent county militia were fans and owners of Game Cocks; Fight'n Blue Hens as they were called. The Fight'n Blue Hens became known far and wide as the very best Fighting Game Cocks around. Thus, the Blue Hen was established.

Re: Pick the Conference Champions Contest
Interesting in looking over this thread I have seen Dayton, Butler, Jacksonville, San Diego and Drake all picked to win the PFL.... And truth be told, anyone of them could win.... One thing seems certain, whomever rises to the top here would be a playoff worthy team...!
