You people need some serious psychological intervention. Maybe its the lack of oxygen at altitude?

Listen guy, PULL your pee pee out of SUU @ss for a minute alright?
I wasnt talking about EWU "record size crowd" I was talking about EWU attendance LAST SEASON, SUU had a record 10,028 vs Dixie State that was thier highest crowd last year, EWU's "highest" crowd last year was 6,632 UNDER 7,000. Not once LAST YEAR did EWU have 7,000 SHOW UP to a game last season.
Pay attention.

Falkin i love it whenever you post, you prove that ignorance and retartedness go hand in hand also we dont have that eyesore of a red field . However a thing of not we will be unveiling our brand new video scoreboard this saturday vs San Diego so upgrades are being undertaken with the rise of the football program. Rumor is going around that we are going to be shooting for a turf field next season to. Things are looking up for SUU.

Re: BSC Candidate SUU, Facilities
While SUU surely wouldn't elevate the status of the Sky right away, they certainly would belong. They are the best fit geographically, and we need a full member, and I think SUU would become a full.

I know you're just trying to smack BF, and I have no problem with that, but if you wanna skew stats to your advantage, EWU has won two of the last 3 years, and 7 of the last 11.native wrote:Are you trying to say that a Pop Warner team has beat your Eagles 3 of the last 5 years?!???BlackFalkin wrote:

Re: BSC Candidate SUU, Facilities
I have no issues with SUU joining the BSC. They're really the only logical choice geographically and their facilities are basically on par with most BSC schools. Their low enrollment could be a potential issue, but in the grand scheme of things I don't see how that could be the deciding factor. Much smaller schools compete at the FBS level.
Real question is - if Fullerton has already said that he intends to bring the BSC to a 12 team conference for football, why isn't this a done deal already? Poly and Davis were given the invites, so why wasn't SUU? It's basically a foregone conclusion that if they were given an invite they would accept. SUU is the *only* logical choice geographically in terms of schools that already compete at the FCS level. I have a hard time seeing the BSC bring in any more transitional DII schools as it would only weaken the conference. I'm also not sure there are even any DII schools that are ready or willing to make the jump that fit the BSC footprint.
The only possible reason I could think of is perhaps the BSC is waiting to see how things play out with the WAC. The prospect of either UI or SJSU joining the conference has got to be appealing......Getting SJSU would make 4 California schools, and has got to be appealing to Poly, Sac, and Davis. Similarly, Idaho coming back to the BSC would be huge for UM, MSU, and EWU. I know people feel like this will never happen but fans from both schools are already talking about it. What happens when these schools have no other options? SJSU perhaps could drop football because that seems to be the Cali way of doing business, but Idaho dropping football? No chance. If given no other option I am sure their powers that be would much rather play in a conference that they would be competitive in and whose members are regionally relevant.
I'll bet that very few people thought that all this conference re-alignment stuff could actually put the BSC and FCS in a much stronger position, but things certainly seem to be pointing in that direction. When all the dust settles, I think that FCS out west will be more relevant, not less as most would have thought.

Yes, support them into the pioneer football conference.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote: I hope the fans go out and support SUU this year...
SUU dont you ever stop and think.. "Hmm we could never win a conf title in extremly weak GWC, if we go to the BSC where they have REAL d1 teams we might get killed like UNC. Maybe we're getting too big for our britches & need to join the pioneer conf."

If there is new info. then sure.weberwildcat wrote:can we talk about suu please
The fact is that they are exactly comparable to EWU which has poor facilities and you wouldn't want to add another EWU to the conference unless they were willing to do something to get themselves out of the cellar.

Wow, this thread has reminded me why the Griz should get out of the Big Sky. These are some sad sack facilities.
