Good win for the bison. I think ku is a pretty awful team but any win for an fcs team over a bcs team is big. Should be a good game next week.

Well, UNI plays at Kansas next week in volleyball. But a UNI win would not be an upset at all. (in fact, if Kansas wins, it would be a pretty big upset).


Congrats to NDSU. Always great to see an FCS team beat a BCS team, especially with an MVFC team getting the win.

And Clenzie's hatred of all things NDSU makes me laugh as much as lakesbison's hatred of all things UND.

It's a good win and the Bison deserve credit for their effort. If the Bison can continue the momentum and whup UNI in the dome They are then looking at SDSU and SIU at their place. I thought ISU was going to be the team that emerged from the pack this year but it looks like it's the Bison.

If you want to study ancient history: You have one good conference win since you moved up to FCS. Two if you manage to get by UNI.

relax lakes, what's it matter what you are ranked? This is the FCS, it's a playoff system...just keep winning and you get in. Being ranked doesn't do anything for you, until seeding time. Go beat UNI this week and then you'll be just fine.
I think you are going to find voters will be leaning more towards KU being an awful team than NDSU being that great.

Same as everyone is saying on BV...some think we might come out ranked, some think we'll be just short, about everyone agrees it doesn't really matter. I think the excitement over an FBS win is tempered by the very low score and a little concern over the offense. We hope that the coaches were just playing conservatively and, when it is needed, hopefully our playbook has got more in it than what we saw.
