That's just great, but nobody has ever heard me defend Bush economic policies except for the tax cuts early in his presidency.Cap'n Cat wrote:CitadelGrad wrote:

Bush hangover, no doubt. Obama is God, but he's no FDR.

So, I should have no problem finding a paying job in a month when my internship hours run out...right?

Again, high unemployment in't part of the definition of a recession. And whether or not you are able to find a job means jack shit for the economy as a whole.clenz wrote:So, I should have no problem finding a paying job in a month when my internship hours run out...right?

That's right, clenz. Get on the Obama bandwagon and defend him until your last breath while you subsist on Cheez-Wiz and crackers. Hey, Graddy The Blindfolded, he might not know best, but he has a plan and he's executing it. Vote your asshole babykillers back in office in a couple years, sh*t on the American people again, and start another war. Or two.
Re: The recession is over.
I'm in the non-profit field. Without funding and a good economy there isn't shit. The place I'm at now had a position open I was working towards. Due to the lack of state and federal funding (due to the economy), they eliminated the position and forced the job duties onto other staff, who are already underpaid and overworked, rather than hiring another staff person.Skjellyfetti wrote:Again, high unemployment in't part of the definition of a recession. So please ky, tell me again how the economy doesn't affect my job outlook
