Someone correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it a UNI player that overtly hit a Griz player in the nuts and was tossed from the games a few years ago? I may be wrong so don't take it to the bank.

Yeah, and that was stupid. We also hadn't been getting ripped on for issues with sportsmanship that season.

3 games into the season SFA is 3-3 on people thinking their program has poor sportsmanship. I personally don't have hurt feelings about it, it just blows my mind that the coaches and players don't have the integrity to knock that shit off.

With everything I've seen from SFA this season, they are not the kind of team I would want representing FCS and so I hope they do not make the playoffs.

In all honesty i feel that yes it was classless but at the same time there is no real point complaining about it. Its quite apparent that the Jacks lack discipline and that will come into play before the year is over. The game is over, nothing can be done about it now so its time to move on. Hopefully the coaches tell them to not do that crap again, ive seen a time where a taunting player got his ass kicked by fans when they stormed the field (Utah vs TCU game 2008, fans whacked this shit talker over the head a few times before his buddies saved him, was running security on the field at the time.) However i do think its funny that SFA is getting involved in all sorts of shinanigans this year apparently, that flop was ridiculous. I am honestly done with it and since we have a valued opinion from a fan of Southern Utah its set in stone we have a classless program. I am going to call coach and ask him to stop winning so we don't upset anyone else. Clentz I would be willing to bet your the same guy who was ripping the coach earlier in the week for his offensive style. Your a great fcs fan and so are utah fan. I bet your respective program is proud to have and i know i can speak for most Sfa fans and say we are glad they have you to. Its over like us or hates us we went to the dome and won. I personally get excited when 20,000 boo me and my teammates. You are almost as bad as the college i am at now whose fans boo the starting qb and he is 2-1. Good luck to Uni and everyone else who feels like your cheerios have been pissed in.

Have I been suspicious of mulitple players going down at the same time with cramps only to sprint of the field? Yep. Sorrry for being hard to understand posting this with my phone. 1. I never denied the players faking the injuries to slow Atm its actually funny to me because people have done it to us for two years. I am not gonna call people out because its not my style but it happens all the time. I am mot upset or offended honestly does that mean i have no moral turpitude maybe but its not in the rules. I feel like its when your trying to run the clock down you do things to make the the official wait to spot the ball. Now that rule has changed because ita thw officials descression to start the clock. The faking injury rule will change and likely help our offense more than hurt it. 2. Who cares punters do that crap all the time. They arent even real players.

WOW! Things have certainly changed since my playing days. If we did that stuff we'd be packing up our locker. I was always taught that football was a sport that taught discipline. I guess this SFA coach feels differently. I wonder if the NCAA will review any film of this. Sad to say but it looks like good sportsmanship is becoming a thing of the past.

You have no idea how nice it is to see that fans of other schools are seeing the same type of behavior and general classlessness that I saw from the SFA program in week 2.

You guys kill me. I was at the UNI-SFA game on Saturday and saw just as many dirty licks handed out by UNI. Your fans were way over the top with your verbal abuse of our players during the game. You guys who sit at the rail just behind the visitor's bench are a piece of work. You're lucky one of the players didn't grab you and beat the **** out of you for all of the things that were said to us. I was proud of how we were able to keep our compsure for the most part. As for after the game, you lost and now SFA is a classless team?

Same for the poor Albany fan the week before who whined about us running up the score. Our third team quarterback threw a touchdown pass to a walk-on wide reciever in the fourth quarter. They're not coached to take a knee especially when they get a chance to play. For Albany if have two words....GET BETTER!

Take a look around. There are a number of fans from schools not named UNI or Albany that have expressed issues with SFA's coaching. Including a number of fans of teams from the SLC that have been saying it for years.

Perhaps you should take a step back and look at it from a different perspective?

Slc fans dont like the fact we beat mcneese in which they handed us the game just ask them and texas state has beat us the last three years. Polishing the rocket was always good stress relief after a game. Almost as good as having a beer after a tough game.

I would say we see players acting like butt heads from every school occassionally. And I think the emotion of any particular game can have an impact in their behavior. Sometimes we the fans don't see all that is going on in a game. Sometimes you get what you give. I am a total outsider on this conversation having seen none of what your all talking about so flame ahead. However, SFA fans and players were very respectful and respected in Missoula last fall and I find it hard to believe their whole attitude changed in a few months. It happened and hopefully won't again. I for one believe crap can happen by any team at any given game if the perfect storm arrives.

Well i was so respected last year is Missoula that i got bought so many beers that i got overserved. I also had trouble finding my hotel. I wasnt a player just before someone starts bitching. I was also given a MO club hat and burger on the house. Thanks for the hangover and the ass whipping.

Doesn't matter who the team is. My opinion is that it's always better to show some class and not taunt either the opposing players or fans either during or after a game. I guess it's not the end of the world but I like it a lot better if the team I'm pulling for doesn't do stuff like that.

But I'm old and grew up in an era when there was this thing called "sportsmanship."
