Tony Romo is a joke. It's time for the Cowboys to bring in Danny White.
Until then, GO SIRENS!!!

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I laugh in the direction of ROMO.

This team is going to implode on the preseason hype of being the first legit Super Bowl team with home field advantage.
And now they go to neighboring Houston who is a very good team. 0-3 is not out of the question here and then look out.

They'll still have the best stadium, and maybe some good teams will visit there throughout the season.LUMBERJACK! wrote:This team is going to implode on the preseason hype of being the first legit Super Bowl team with home field advantage.

Why are we still calling this 'Americas Team'?
On a sidenote: my old roommate from college has been a Cowboys fan all his life (or so he says). He recently purchased tickets to the Skins @ Cowboys game. This will be his first time visiting Dallas and the entire state of Texas, and his first Dallas Cowboys game that wasn't against the Redskins in DC. He is 34 years old.

I got burned badly on Facebook this afternoon. An Eagles fan friend was digging on the Cowboys, then a Cowboys fan said something about the Eagles lack of Superbowl rings, then I mentioned that Dallas hadn't won a playoff game since 1996.
I wish I hadn't forgotten that the Cowboys beat the Eagles in the playoffs last year.

Re: Dallas Cowboys
Well, truth be told, I'm sure lots of cowgirl fans would like to forget the week after that when they came crashing down to Earth in a similar beatdown by the Vikings. To wait a decade and a half to win another playoff game and finally win one, only to be thoroughly destroyed the following week, can't be a great feeling. Not that I think that's a shame or anything.93henfan wrote:I got burned badly on Facebook this afternoon. I see a lot of Panthers logos in a thread making fun of the Cowboys.

Matt Nichols was at the tailgate on Saturday, and I got to hear a lot of stories about the Cowboys and Romo. Very entertaining.
Let's just say you guys aren't the only ones wishing bad on the Cowboys.

1) No one, including Panthers fans, were calling this a "Super Bowl" year.
2) You will not find any Panthers fans as arrogant as those POS Cowgirl fans. Don't get me wrong, I hate the entire Cowgirl organization, but it wouldn't be such a deep hatred if it weren't for their "fans." The Cowgirls are my most hated team, 1000x more than the Yankees...that's saying something.
Appalachian State Mountaineers:

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! WE'RE GONNA SHOUT IT! NOTHING'S HOTTER THAN A-S-U!

Just my one chance to brag about my team.
And yeah, I'm with you on the Cowboys, except the Yankees are their equal in my book, but there's the whole divisional rivalry to add to everything else thats wrong with them.

Skins fans always try to use that one on me here. Then I remind them that their college freshman has never seen the Skins win a Super Bowl and have only seen three playoff wins in their life.93henfan wrote:then a Cowboys fan said something about the Eagles lack of Superbowl rings
BTW, one of the sites I use for team records goes back to 1945... the Skins are now #4 in the NFC East.

1. I guess that makes the loss feel better, you guys got worked by a TE with no knees and a 4th round WR.ASUMountaineer wrote:Yeah, two thoughts.ToTheLeft wrote:I see a lot of Panthers logos in a thread making fun of the Cowboys.

Come on now TJ. Ease up, our owner isn't willing to spend any money. Our #2 WR is Lafell or DWAYNE JARRETT! With that said, I just hope you're not like most Dallas "fans" who have never been to Texas, let alone Dallas.tampajag wrote:1. Re: Dallas Cowboys
I talk smack about my teams because I actually support them. I'd say I've been to Dallas a few times in my life since I have family and friends that live there and every year I fly out there to see the Cowboys play, which is more than some people can say. And if all goes well I'll be in Jerry's World fot the thansgiving game against the Saints.ASUMountaineer wrote:Come on now TJ. Ease up, our owner isn't willing to spend any money.
