Lacrosse Championships back in Philly

Post by bluehenbillk »

Philly Daily News reported the other day that the Linc is confirmed as the site of the 2013 Final 4. As well PPl Park in Chester will host a quarterfinal DH in 2012. Lacrosse in Chester, now that's an oxymoron. White privileged kids playing in the hood...

I wish they would bring it back to College Park, MD, but this is still much better than Foxboro. I used to go to the Final Four games in College park almost every Memorial Day Weekend that I could.

I went to several when I was in HS, back before Byrd Stadium expanded.

Anyone who travels to lacrosse games (other than their kids' games or the actual championship game if their alma mater makes it) gets filed under "slightly weird" in my book. :twocents:

Anyone who still puts their kid in league league baseball instead of lacrosse gets filed the same way for me.
