Nailed it, and that's why single payer is an interesting option.
And who would run this single payer system???

When the Chinese get here in 2015, they will show us exactly how to run such a system.

And all I need to know about this Obamacare is that now, if I want to use pre-tax dollars (via HC reimbursement) to purchase medications, I'll have to spend a $20 copay to get a prescription from Dr therby driving up waste in both my pocketbook as well as wasted time in the waiting room for me, the Dr & every other patient out there which equals lost productivity in the workplace which equals.....on & on & on....

Education IS a federal responsibility and the equal distribution of good health care is, as well.

If that's commie or socialist, I wear your scorn as a badge of honor. I will work for a future state in which the government heavily regulates and, in fact, operates health care, if need be.

One thing you shortsighted dorks always neglect, too, is the corporate and individual responsibility angles in this issue. We create our own problems!!!

McDonalds and Burger King and KFC bombard us with images designed to get us to consume shit and then we do consume the shit! The corps know we're addicted and have virtually no chance to get out from under the rolls of fat dripping of our bodies and the consumers just give up and throw temselves on the health care system, dragging it down.

Conks, or anyone fighting health care reform, are just perpetuating the status quo.

So, your familes' healthcare is run by the state of Minnesota & NOT the federal government? What gives the state of Minnesota the right to provide you with healthcare? Oh, that's right, the Constitution since it isn't specifically notated as a federal responsibility.

BTW, how have you survived? Surely, your healthcare would improve dramatically if run by the feds.

Yep it does...

But it then goes on to list specific federal responsibilities and says anything else is left to the states...
