The envy is not yet to the level of Montana, but if we can get a streak together like the griz, there might be a Bisonpalooza comparable. ;)

Streak of what?

I'd worry about finishing top half in the conference before any kind of streak

They know all this stuff Gil. They are firmly in control of all the subterranean FCS issues falling outside the NCAA sphere of influence. They have council inside D2 and FBS as well. :coffee:

When Bison Command puts on the outside lights surrounding the Fabulous Fargo Dome its the sign that NDSU Football has entered "game preparation". They are no longer in practice mode. Security will be increased around the Prestigious facility. Media access will now be controlled through NDSU Sports Information. Access to the entire facility will be limited.

Players and coaches are now beginning the mental preparation needed for victory. Deep under the Arena "BISON Football" will be contemplating the final plans for this game. To be sure they are in the libraries, like they are every week, searching for the right keys to victory. The answer is always there. Don't expect anybody from "back east" this week, The BIG GAME is all Dakota.

We are expecting the lights to go on tonight. Right now there is an air of relaxed calm surrounding the stadium. There is no one coming and going at this hour. All seems quiet but tomorrow is the day before game day in Fargo.

Right now it 54 with showers and cloudy in Fargo. By game time it will be sunny and in the mid to lower 60s. Its gong to be a beautiful day around the stadium.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Does anybody know for sure when the USD buses are leaving Vermillion? We had thought they were leaving early Saturday morning. Box lunches on the road. Arrive at the stadium around 2. Tour the field, get dressed and come out for warm-ups. I suppose they might leave Friday?

Hey Gil. I passed on your tip to "The GAC" and they didn't know Montana fans were already on the thread. They said, "Thanks for the heads up!"

Oh, by the way, Paul Magoffin says hi to you Gil!

Ahhh.........the "Brewster Beaters Bowl" as KFAN in Minneapolis as billed this game. Have seen both teams play on TV I would have to say I am very worried about the Bison being able to stop the Yote defense. I also think that the Bison offense has yet to find its stride. This will probably be a close contest, but since it is at the Fargodome, I would give a slight edge to the Bison (assming the o-line shows up). If the o-line has not figured out the game yet....the Bison will loose.

This thread is funny. Already we have Bison fans making excuses and then trying to save face in case the Yotes lose next week to UND. HaHA, you guys are going to soften us up for the Sioux?

News flash, USD is taking out both the NoDak schools in consecutive weeks. The Bison think they have a good D, that's until the Yotes hit that deep pass for 6 on the first series of the game. Welcome to the track meet, hope your O can keep up. I think not.

Just to set you straight, nobody said The BISON were softening USD up for anything except that one guy from UND, I forget his name.

I expect a good game. Im glad you dropped by yote53. Maybe you can help clarify when the buses are leaving? We have heard Saturday Morning with lunch on the road? Is that right?

Unfortunately I have to coach a youth football game on Saturday and will not be able to make the trip. I have to do my part developing young talent to keep reloading the U with the players they need to dominate the Bison. I'll have to catch this one on the tube but I'll be there in spirit.

You are tired of the coverage the Coyotes have received. I guess that would be the lack of attention the bunnies are now getting. And how has USD and UND screwed things up. Your moral victory at Minnesota last year may the highlight of your 5 year transition. The Yotes, in year three, and with only 4 seniors, new d coordinator, new quarterback, and half the offensive line gone from last year, hang 41 on the Gophs. USC could only put 32 on them. So if you want to call it a grudge, go ahead, sounds like jealousy to me.
Yeah you'd absolutely crush USC.

What was the USD/UNI score last time the played?
I believe it was 66-7 if no one knew the answer.

Do you see what I'm talking about here? Kill an NAIA school, good job. Their was no moral victory against UofM last year it was a loss, the only people who approach it as such are the media. Only Coyotes believe in moral victories. You guys can't even win the GW conference, and you won't this year, but you'll have beaten the Goofs. Enjoy your moral vicotry :thumb:

Absolutely incorrect. UND is #1 in the "Moral Victory" National Poll. They are sensitive about it too.
I really dont understand folks that will claim a moral victory, as the UND fans have, and then get mad about it if you mention it!

Shouldn't they be proud of their self-proclaimed acheivment instead of embarassed and defensive? :twocents:

My sources at Bison Command are telling me we have a "SOLD OUT CONDITION" at the Fabulous Fargo Dome. There is a large block of student tickets, 1,810, still not issued. These tickets may be released to the public Saturday morning. There are scattered seats available throughout the stadium and reserved seat ticket holders that cant make the game will have NDSU Athletics re-sell the seats on Saturday as well.

This game is heading into record territory if there is any kind of walk-up at all.

If you have tickets for sale or need tickets this thread might help you, but contact the BISON Ticket Office, http://www.gobison.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, first.

KFAN in Minneapolis is piling on more and more. I can't believe Tim Brewster will be anything but fired as the Minnesota coach at the end of the season. It sounds like KFAN will broadcast live from the tailgate in Fargo....totaly humiliating for the University of Minnesota FB program. Here is a linky to KFAN....

Never said a word about The U beating USC. And I do not recall pumping our chests after taking care of Northwest OK state. But I can't recall losing to a Div. 3 team with no scholarship players on our home field. So lose the attitude, and deal with your soon to be 0-3 record. And I will never make an excuse for us losing to UNI, they flat out kicked our butts in our first year of D-1. And I will be the first to give credit to NDSU if they beat us. But you have to admit this game has drawn interest. At least they are not affraid to play us. Go Yotes!!

You do mean 0-4 for the Jacks. I don't see how they'll win one of the next two. Maybe they could quick schedule a D3 school from Wisconsin again, wait, that didn't turn out well either.
