Chatty has played 2 top 10 teams really well then taken care of two FCS bottom feeders (this year at least). UM has the two close losses to not bad teams (not as good as the teams Chatty lost to), but they don't have enough wins at this point (one win that matters, albeit against a better team than EKU or WCU).

EWU got embarrassed, maybe they're a bit too low but when their only win is over Griz who are about no. 27 on my list, they belong just slightly ahead of the team they beat for their marquee win. The close win over CWU, even if they are a good DII, doesn't help my confidence in the Eagles.

Not so sure on this one. TXST plays T-option teams v. well and we haven't lost to CP at home, yet. I don't see it as them shitting the bed, at all. We beat them with Barden and Gocong on their roster, why not now?

But obviously after destroying Delaware St and holding Alabama A&M to 34-14 in a VERY tight game that could have went either way, UAM was a fluke! you don't even have Southrn at 25? What a JOKE! Catmom sorry for being rude no need for that. Honestly just didnt understand why you a few others jumped on Sfa being a classless program. After the injury thing I honestly have been to each game and havent seen anything that was beyond normal. As far as polls goes they really dont matter but they are a big deal to fans so thats why every week this thread is heated. I remember the milf post as well I was just being an ass. I also dont know what powned is if that is some internet jargon. I assume that like most arguements on here this to shall pass. I honestly think that Txst goes as far as the offense takes them. The screen game they have really dictates how gopd they are offensively. Sfa has proven worthy of a top ten for sure, while I know lamar is first year they have come out firing. The cardinal chili was hot for last saturdays affair. They just got hit right in the teeth. Mcneese is a different story because they are mcneese. Losing forroux was a huge blow but i think they can beat any team because they expect to. Southeastern is the only team i really thought was a little overhyped coming into the season. Not being disrespectful just didnt think they were all that was advertised last year and they loss a couple really good players. My opinion like everyone else is just that an opinion. I am not a vat of knowledge on the fcs but i know about a bunch of teams because i have spent time watching alot of them on film.

Jax State 4-0 with an FBS win (Ole Miss)
SFA 3-1 with an FBS loss and just got by UNI.

Looks like both are off to good starts as far as poll voters see things, but Jax gets the votes over SFA by virtue of that FBS win and you know the CAA teams (and App) are gonna get the votes over an SLC team anyway. So far, deservedly so IMHO.

Interesting that you mention SFA just getting by a Top 25 team but not mentioning JSU just getting by EIU and Chattanooga and being taken to OT by Georgia State. Both teams are top 5-6 but lets be consistent here.

I moved NDSU ahead of UNI because of the 2 losses vs 1 loss, and NDSU is a better team with Jensen at QB, just look at the scoreboard, the offense has come alive with him. Of course some of it had to do with UNI's defense, and UNI, IMO still has a great chance to win the MVFC, it's just the way it stands as of today.

I can't blame you for that. I just have a hard time putting NDSU up "too" high right now. Regardless what the tard JBB says Morgan State sucks major balls, and USD wasn't for real (they caught a BAAAAAD Minnesota team over looking them), and the Kansas win I'm not sure what to make of yet. Yes, beating a B12 team is a great win but I can not figure out what to think of Kansas. Had you lost to Kansas you wouldn't be sniffing my top 25 right now, then again had we lost to NDSU we wouldn't be sniffing anyones top 25.

The Iowa St. game was just bad. We out gained them by over 100 yards, "held" the best running back in the B12 to about 100 yards rushing (something a lot of B12 defenses won't do), and only really gave up 3 "earned" points to ISU. Our offense scored more points for ISU than ISU did.


I didn't drop UNI this week much, as I feel we are a better team than 95% of the FCS, but we have to get our play calling/fumble situation figured out.


EDIT: To be fair, typing it out like this does make me feel like I have WIU WAY overrated right now and I'm expected them to fall completely off radar once conference play starts

Or another way to look at it is the Griz have lost to two teams who ended up being crappy...a cynic could make the assumption the Griz, by default, are even more crappy than than EWU & CP, are just a little better, on their home field no less, than Sac St & could only muster a decent game against Western St....(& they're thinking of moving up? )

I'm really diggin the love, but I think it may be a little early to have us in the top 20. Our only quality win is Elon and the season may go to show that it's not a quality win after all. If we knock off Wofford and Chattanooga in the coming weeks, I'd say we deserve top 15, but not until then.
