This girl played softball on my daughter's team in 7-8th grade. She has been visiting summer camps at colleges for a couple years and has now committed to go to Missouri at the age of 15. Her stuff is absolutely sick. When people would walk by the field, they would stop and watch with their jaw in their hands.
Finucane is considered the top pitching prospect in the nation for the 2013 recruiting class, and quite a get for the emerging Missouri program. She has an impressive power fastball that sits in the 67-68mph range, but she has four or five other plus pitches in her repertoire as well. The whole package is a devastating combination for opposing hitters.

Dunno. I guess an up and comer in the NCAA. Her sister goes to South Carolina and I thought she might end up there.
"This (Missouri) is the perfect fit for me, I will not regret this decision," said Finucane, in regards to her commitment at the beginning of her sophomore year. "They have a great journalism department; I think it's the number one program in the country. I've always loved sports, I've always watched and listened to the broadcasts and thought it was cool."
Missouri finished last season ranked #8 overall in the ESPN preseason top 25, and won the Big 12 Conference championship.
Missouri Head Coach Ehren Earleywine has led the softball program to unprecedented success in his four years at the program. His teams have captured back-to-back-to-back regional championships, a Big 12 title, the first two 50-win seasons in Missouri history, and two consecutive Women's College World Series appearances. Earleywine is the first Tiger coach ever to lead his team to back-to-back trips to the World Series.
