No smack this week for the longest standing rivalry in the SoCon? Where are you, bellhops?

As for you HillBilly, time for you to come down off BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, too. The lawnmower man is no longer there to "DELIVERANCE" for you.
Off to GreenVegas to watch a Furby whoopin'!

Yes you do and it ends today around 5PMBiff wrote:38 - 28
Last I checked we still have bragging rights.
The most recent record is 1-0. as biff said about last year the bragging rights belong to us.CidDawg wrote:Congrats on the win OLFU- a more recent record brings the series to 2-2 over the last four years- use whatever era fits your pitch- but you'll have to come out of 80's at some point. Dick Sheridan's not your coach anymore.
That was quite the "BEATDOWN" today on your home field- your defense absolutelydominated our freshmen qb led offense to a lowly 359 yards total offense (to Furby's 296) and mostly on the ground. FYI- this is about the same amount of yards we put on Chowan and Presbyterian with our 2's and 3's in the game.
You might want to find a running game too-125 yards? This isn't the Patriot League.
I know Lamb and the Purpletraitor Faithful are breathing a sigh of relief, but the boosters, Lettermen's club are gonna look at this game and sweat next year in Charleston- that is- if they are around then.
Now get on and go beat those frat boys up the road (hey wait- you guys are frat boys too)- what the hell- just go play.
CidDawg wrote:As for you Hillbilly- I'll bet you've never put down your pipe and lightnin' long enough to put on a pair of shoulderpads, but you join that bandwagon- the ride is always great when someone else is doin' the pullin'. You might have to get off when the load gets too heavy.
Says the graduate of a faux military college still pining for the late 1850's...you know, before your a$$e$ were handed to you by graduates of a real military college in Upstate NY...heck, the only reason the South hung around as long as they did was through the leadership of West Point graduates turned traitor.....CidDawg wrote:Congrats on the win OLFU- a more recent record brings the series to 2-2 over the last four years- use whatever era fits your pitch- but you'll have to come out of 80's at some point.
Not to mention a guy who originally brought up the series record from 1955. Talk about picking and choosing.Appaholic wrote:Says the graduate of a faux military college still pining for the late 1850's...you know, before your a$$e$ were handed to you by graduates of a real military college in Upstate NY...heck, the only reason the South hung around as long as they did was through the leadership of West Point graduates turned traitor.....CidDawg wrote:Congrats on the win OLFU- a more recent record brings the series to 2-2 over the last four years- use whatever era fits your pitch- but you'll have to come out of 80's at some point.
You wouldn't know the difference between a faux military school and a real one if it kicked you in the nuts. Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea.Appaholic wrote:Says the graduate of a faux military college still pining for the late 1850's...you know, before your a$$e$ were handed to you by graduates of a real military college in Upstate NY...heck, the only reason the South hung around as long as they did was through the leadership of West Point graduates turned traitor.....CidDawg wrote:Congrats on the win OLFU- a more recent record brings the series to 2-2 over the last four years- use whatever era fits your pitch- but you'll have to come out of 80's at some point.
Well, I do know there are 3 REAL military schools & none located in Charle's Town, SC. What you've got there on the Ashley is nothing more than a glorified Boy Scout Camp that's been forced to play nice with the fat chik so it can keep suckling from the federal teet.....CitadelGrad wrote:You wouldn't know the difference between a faux military school and a real one if it kicked you in the nuts. And State's get their money from the Feds now, so in effect, you surrendered your traditions to keep your snouts in the public feeding trough...how honorable...Col Tew would be so proud....CitadelGrad wrote:There is no federal money in our operating budget and very little state money. The Citadel is a private school in all but name.
