Turn Guatanamo Back Over to The Cubans.....

Post by Cap'n Cat »

We are there only to be an annoying presence on an enemy island. We stole it from them. Time to own up and give it back. Some reparations would be nice, too. Two hundred grand to each Cuban citizen might be good.

Isn't the base still under the lease negotiated by FDR in 1934? Looks like Roosevelt and Batista were buddies.

History Link

After the Platt Amendment was annulled in 1934, a new lease was negotiated between the Roosevelt administration and a Cuban government that included Fulgencio Batista as one of three signatories.

And Batista was a shill of the American corporations who abused citizens and executed nonconformists. An early one in the long like of azzholes we propped up to line the pockets of the Bushes and 89Hens of the world.

JFK"s Bay of Pigs performance, didn't turn out like Nixon had planned it. Can't send a Donk to do a Conks work. :coffee:

Senator John F. Kennedy, the young, liberal catholic making a bid for the big chair in the oval office knew that the only way to get that chair was to ride the popular wave of anti-communism. In the process, Kennedy and his brother Robert became obsessed with Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Hey, I'm just glad you're finally admitting you're a Conk, Gilbert!
