OK, read it again. It only confirms that you only know what you read about Catholics. You obviously didn't listen to any sermons when you did attend mass if you're going to stand by that idiotic comment.

Brother Hen,
1975 came and went for me. Cannot say the same thing for the Cult. It's a new day. Your cult has not adapted to the new realities, never mind the fact that it is violating its own precepts about love and such.

As well, as stated above, when this becomes a civil rights issue, as it has, it's a whole new ballgame in which the Church is doomed to be shut out.

Yeah, Joe, but that's when the most controversial thing that ever came to light about the RCC was bingo slush funds!!!

Things has changed, Bud!!!!

Yeah, great, Joe, but what would Jesus do?

Why are you (and your children) involved in a cult that bashes gays?

It is political because it's a civil rights/civil liberties issue

Also an equal taxation issue

Who gives a fuck, your racket should be taxed. The catholic church is no different than McDonalds and Home Depot, well the latter are more christ-like, but it's a business, plain and simple.

not at all

this issue is not substantially different at all from any other civil rights issue

it may have started out as a religious issue, but today is a straight forward civil rights issue

not really all that unlike women having the right to vote, equal educational oportunities for minorities, inter racial marriage, etc etc etc

If the church wants to take a stand against the fundamental civil rights issue of the day....................

all while giving lip service to that peace and love bullshit.........................

No, wait a minute, Hoagie's right on this one. The Ku Klux Klan didn't admit blacks and, thus, did not allow them to partake of their rituals. There remain hundreds of country clubs and other such facilities in America that do the same. Freedom of association, I suppose.

That being said, I hope you guys are proud.

Did not hurt that the Plant Manager I was interviewing with played football at Missouri State in the late 70's and early 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told by the local Priest a few years back, that non Catholics and Catholics who have not gone to confession lately can become ill, and even die from taking the Eucharist.

He was serious.

I knew the prayer would work because I asked for the intercession of Santa Vincenzo Lombardi di Fordhamensis, because he is the patron saint of football players and he shares your birthday.

And then, bam, the football connection works it for you.
