A place kicker who kicked a 59 yard game winning FG.. and his only FG of the game wins special teams player of the week over a guy who blocked a punt and FG attempt, the first led to a touchdown and the second was returned for a touchdown.
Sure 59 yards is a bit long, but that one kick alone doesnt equal what Patrick Chung did.

59 yards is very long. To win a game is a huge accomplishment. Special Teams TD's in a blowout aren't as meaningful. Deal with it, Scobee hit what will be the FG of the year, more than likely. He deserves recognition.UNHWildCats wrote:A place kicker who kicked a 59 yard game winning FG.. and his only FG of the game wins special teams player of the week over a guy who blocked a punt and FG attempt, the first led to a touchdown and the second was returned for a touchdown.
