Can you picture Jesus spitting in a gay fisherman's face and damning him to Hell? From what I've read of Jesus and what was taught to me in my hard time at the Catholic grade school, I cannot see him being as mean as Catholic dogma is today. Remember when considering this that the Bible was written hundreds of years after Jesus was around.
Dude was the original hippie, the original bleeding heart liberal, the original treehugger. I say he loved everyone except for the hypocrites and money changers (i.e., the Conks of his day).

I think Jesus would approach gay people the same way he approached the adulterous woman( John 8: 1-11 for those with a program)...who was about to be stoned to death for her sins...
After shaming the people who wished to stone her (Let he who is without sin cast the first stone)...he then turned to her, forgave her, and told her not to sin again...
Since "being" gay is not listed as a sin anywhere, Jesus would simply tell the gay person not to have homosexual relations...which is the sin...not being gay...
So, the gay person who would approach Jesus would now have a choice...free choice...to accept the forgiveness or reject it and continue to sin...
The same choice each human is presented...
But you knew that....didn't you...
