Definitely Rungrado May Day Stadium:
Best atmosphere. No bad fans and EVERYONE cheers (or they die) . Montana has nothing on 'em.

Re: best stadium???
Picking your own stadium doesn't work for this, IMO. (Of course, I wouldn't pick the erector set Hornet Stadium in a million years.)
There are many factors here. Construction, capacity, percentage filled on a normal basis, decibels, age if the quality is good, etc. Old stadia with tradition should NEVER be replaced if they can be remodeled with the same "looks" to rehab structural deficiencies.
That said, I do think even though I've never been there, WA-Griz would be a worthy choice. There are also several back east that would have a good argument. I like what I've seen online for Williams Stadium.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: best stadium???
While I'm not a Michigan fan, that stadium is certainly pleasing to the eye. The only drawback I can see is that given the 100K size, you better get there early. Compared to stadium size, there doesn't look like very much in the way of parking.clenz wrote:Are we talking just FCS or all of D1?

Re: best stadium???
Do a Google Maps look of Ann Arbor. There isn't too much of a problem parking compared to other places, per capita, I wouldn't think. However, averaging 110K per game, I'm sure getting in to and out of the stadium isn't easy.

Re: best stadium???
No disrespect to the ridiculous amount of Montana fans here, and I'm sure the stadium has an amazing atmosphere, but from an aesthetic POV, Griz Stadium is not much to marvel at. That's only my opinion though, and I've also never been there. However, the scenery looks nice.

Re: best stadium???
it looks much better in person, but you could say that about most stadiums. but the fact the new addition has alcohol puts it over the top.

Great stadium. Too bad the team that inhabits it sucks.ryannewhart wrote:who do you all think has the best stadium? i say montana

Re: best stadium???
In my opinion:
1. Bridgeforth Stadium - JMU (after it's done)
2. Wash-Griz - Montana
3. Kidd Brewer - Appalachian State
4. Delaware Stadium
5. Stambaugh Stadium - Youngstown State
Montana State has a good chance of cracking the top 5, if they complete their expansion.
