It's cute, Z, the new catholic apoligist. Awwww...
"Goddammit Joe, your hand is cold!"
I merely said he didn't invent either. Reading comprehension is key.
Columbus engaged in activities that (while considered abhorant NOW), were considered exceedingly normal for the time. Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, EVERYONE participated in slavery. EVERYONE. It was common practice and considered spoils of war/exploration/etc. To crucify a guy 500 years later applying OUR morals is disingenuous.
But you already knew that, right?

And the article I cited said he was the first for the modern world. Your FAIL was indeed a giant fail for you, because you cant read very well.
Also, you just failed again. Not everyone was participating in slavery. The people of Hispaniola were described as gentle, accomodation, peaceful and hospitable. It was was the catholics who raped their women, enslaved them, tested the sharpness of their knives on their children and murdered them with guard dogs.
Also name one atheist from the 1500's who was participating in slavery.
Z, Z, Z you mess with bull and you get the horns.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
