The Door May Be Opening for Boise
Re: The Door May Be Opening for Boise
Boise State would destroy Ohio State, thus pee in the butt.

Re: The Door May Be Opening for Boise
how can people complain about Boise's weak schedule if they are beating said weak teams by 40 points plus?
Re: The Door May Be Opening for Boise
Ohio State looked like poo tonight. Boise still won't be #1. Oregon will.

I figured you'd at least be one that realizes that the past doesn't mean anything at this point. I would love to see an Oregon/Boise State game in Autzen this season.
Boise's biggest win this season was against Oregon State, not VT...and Oregon State is getting ass pounded by a bad Washington team right now. Not saying they weren't "good" when they played BSU, but it's not helping their stock any.

Didn't Washington take USC right to the wire. Didn't BSU BEAT both Oregon State and VT? What does it matter which win was better right now when they have both of them under their belt?Willie wrote:I figured you'd at least be one that realizes that the past doesn't mean anything at this point. Oh and also, if Oregon would have wanted to play BSU again...IN AUTZEN then they shouldn't have ducked the game cuz BSU would have went there and played em'.

btw, Oregon St is only down 21-14, and its not even halftime. Oregon St is a really good team, and @ Washington is a very tough place to play.

There's still a lot of season left too. Hell, Oklahoma could be #1 before it's all said and done. I was disappointed in Nebraska's lack of performance today as well. South Carolina looked bad. Florida, well enough said about them. There's a lot of good teams this year, with a fucked up system. While it should finally be the year those dumb cunts realize a playoff is needed, they will be too greedy from bowl money to fix it still.

I am an avid Ohio State fan...which is enough just saying with our bad reputation in bowl games up until 2002 and last year. But I know there are good teams out there. Do I think Boise could compete yearly in the SEC? Probably not. Would they win a few games? Sure. It just doesn't help them being in a non-automatic conference. Even with their move to the MWC won't help all that much with Utah and BYU leaving. They'd be as well off staying put now.

Of course they could compete there with the way they are doing things. They would be able to recruit an even higher class of ball player if they were a Pac 10 team. They are doing what they are now in spite of not having the advantage that the big conferences do...which is competing with them and winning anyway.Willie wrote:I am an avid Ohio State fan...which is enough just saying with our bad reputation in bowl games up until 2002 and last year. After last night, Brad Edward's BSC mock had Oklahoma at #1.

I'd put Auburn over OK right now. They look pretty damn tough to beat.siuham wrote:After last night, Brad Edward's BSC mock had Oklahoma at #1.

Boise doesn't have to be number 1, 2 will do just fine.
