Mrklean, the tragically misplaced and self-destructive "rage" to which you refer represents extreme ignorance and is unworthy of timeless heroes like Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Benjamin Banneker, Benjamin Davis, Chappie James, Jessie Owens, Jackie Robinson, Harriet Tubman, Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, and yes, even Martin Luther King. I am claiming MLK as a conservative because of his love of and confidence in the Constitution and his faith in the underlying goodness of his fellow citizens, black and white, Democrat and Republican.
