I am also Proud to be a Tree and thank Cap'n Cat for bringing this place to my attention. I'm glad to see a few friends here. Oh, yes--it was a very interesting game today. After last year it is amazing to see WIU and Indiana State at the top of the MVFC, even if the Trees are in a tie for second. Amazing turn around.

Good win for the Sycs which garnered a vote in my Top 25 over on AGS. Apparently, some feelings got hurt when I have Indiana St. ranked and not UNI. Prove me right Sycamores in the coming weeks. I would love to see Indiana State come out of the MVFC and make the playoffs.

I've been a fan on ISUB for awhile, and have said many many many times on various boards they are heading the right direction, but explain this to me.

How is a 2-2 Indiana State team (2 of their wins are NAIA and DO NOT COUNT towards playoffs so they don't really count period) ranked a head of a 3 D1 win UNI team? Both are .500 against D1, and ISUB's two wins are against teams that are likely to finish bottom three in the conference from the looks of things.

Yes, we would count them. Thats how it works when you play shit NAIA teams. You don't get credit for the win, but you damn sure will be hurt if you lose.

Yes, they would go on the official record, just the the NAIA wins do.

The difference is this, you don't get credit for a win towards the playoffs for the NAIA, so in essence, they don't count. Neither does Montana's D2 win, or anyone else's D2 win.

However, you take an L vs. and NAIA and that is WORSE than a FBS losing to an FCS.

Oh, and something to think about

Quincy, one of ISUB's NAIA wins has been outscored by their opponents this year 379-165. They are putting up less than 3 yards per rush, and are getting crushed in every statistical category.

At least St. Joseph's has a winning NAIA record at 4-3 I guess, and have outscored their opponents 192-191. So at least they seem to be "semi" competitive in NAIA.

St. Joes is Div 2 I believe not NAIA...I am not a fan that believes those wins are something to brag about but I am not going to call us 2-2 tho...Quincy is absolutely terrible and we had planned to remove them from our schedule with a payout before we lost to them last year...but unfortunately we needed a little revenge..

In the playoff committees eyes, and in the eyes of anyone doing playoff prognostications, you are 2-2. I don't think Montana is 5-2, they are 4-2, and anyone with a D2 or NAIA win in my eyes has that many less wins on their record.

Terry Allen has more MVFC titles than any coach in the history of the conference.

And he is leading this team to their second 2-9 record in his time here. He sucks ass and is washed up and not worth crap. :coffee:

This was "THE YEAR" (in his own words) and what has he done? He has let Indiana State surpass us, and it's only taken Miles three seasons.

PATHETIC!

What makes this melt down even better is the fact that pretty much every MVFC fan outside of MSU told you this would happen this year, and MSU fans argued that you would compete for the title.

We are two wide-left field goals from being 3-0 in conference. Our two league losses are by a combined 6 points over 3 overtimes.

We are 4 points from our only loss being to an FBS school (one more point in regulation at SIU and we win [we missed a FG in the first half] and a missed FG against SFA), being 5-1 and ranked in the top 5.

That game can be played by every single team almost.

It's kind of funny though, you were talking about how bad TA sucks, yet you are justifying your losses saying that you aren't that bad because they were close losses.

I'm just saying, we had reasons to be optimistic about this season. In our last two losses we had 14 point leads before our OC (was Christophel at UNI, too?) went back to the boring playcalling.
