Yup, I’m buying a new car at dealers invoice price. I should have it next week. (My agent has been looking for a specific color I requested that for some reason is hard to find.)kalm wrote:Yes, it's a great time to get deals for those who have the money. You're getting screwed then. Most cars around here sell for $3000-$8000 BELOW retail, which is well below invoice.SDHornet wrote:Yup, I’m buying a new car at dealers invoice price. From the searches I have done, the used cars with fewer than 30k miles are selling for no less than 1-2k from what I am buying it for. I figured I’d just pony up the difference and get a new car with no miles and the full warranty still on it.AZGrizFan wrote:You're getting screwed then. 2011 Mazda 3 Sport. I wanted the Gran Touring package but the only difference from the sport is leather interior, power seats and heated side mirrors for an additional 4-5k. I didn’t see value in the Gran Touring so I went with the Sport. Plus the Sport has the same engine and mechanical specs as the Touring models.AZGrizFan wrote:What are you buying?SDHornet wrote: From the searches I have done, the used cars with fewer than 30k miles are selling for no less than 1-2k from what I am buying it for. From what I understand...Mazda makes some pretty nice sports cars. I hear the MX-3 Hatchback was a particularly hard to find model and is very valuable.SDHornet wrote:2011 Mazda 3 Sport.
