I was on the phone with the Gulf the other night. He mentioned that he is definitely still effed up, and that he'd appreciate it if the all the carpetbaggers west of the Mississippi would quit farting and pissing in him. Man, today ain't Clenzy's day, he's getting spooged on in all sorts of threads. Hope he hasn't watched any horror movies recently, otherwise he might snap.grizzaholic wrote:Hey. Clenzy said it was fine.Wedgebuster wrote:

No, he didn't. But scientifically that might make sense. Most of that gets absorbed by the dead prozzies that get tossed in the mighty Mississippi near Memphis.Wedgebuster wrote:He didn't mention all the spooge did he.State Line Liquors wrote: I was on the phone with the Gulf the other night. There was a poll on this on Bobcatnation awhile back about out of state native Montanans:blazerbird wrote:If Montana's so great, why do so many Montanans leave? If I had a nickel for every Montanan/Griz living and working here in Spokane, I'd be a rich man. I love my state too, but my entire identity isn't defined by where I live or my favorite team. I get a chuckle every time I see someone wearing a piece of Griz clothing when I travel. It's like they're saying "Hey, look at me. I'm from someplace so cool I had to leave. If you're from there too, come talk to me so we can validate each others' coolness."
I got myself in trouble for calling everyone who voted that they'd like to move back but can't "afford" it sellouts.I don't currently want to move back to Montana, and don't see myself ever wanting to move back. 18%
I don't currently want to move back, but could see myself wanting to move back in the future. 25%
I want to move back in the next five years, but it just doesn't make financial sense (jobs/business opportunties) right now. 37%
I want to move back, but family/other obligations are making it difficult to do so. 3%
I have firm plans to move back in the next five years. 3%

Butte is a shit hole, Anaconda is the good land.putter wrote:blazerbird wrote:Sorry I offended. I think it's great that Griz fans can get together in Scottsdale, or anywhere else to support their team. I know too that there are great people and hospitality everywhere. No big deal blazer...of you think people have pride being from Montana then you should see the people I grew up with from Butte, Montana..or Butte, America etc. Talk about proud of where you came from....people don't understand the pride, you just have it and those who piss on you get their teeth knocked out....

OH...I see. You are unable to post them dirty words because you will lose a wife. Gotcha. Just copying how many little "*" pop up, due to the fact you have all of your security/privacy/language/picture options turned to the max, when others put in a naughty word.webfan wrote:I meant to say, well ****you too! Troof. We really should get a Friday thing going with the alias accounts. Since we haven't done "douchebag Friday" in a long time we need to manufacture some Friday time killing.bandl wrote:I'm surprised that Anteater, iCarly or Chuck Norris haven't been here yet...Ursus A. I'm simply saying I can't be as bonded to a Montanan who does not live in Montana anymore. All you are now is a Montanan at heart, but not in body. As is said in this thread, Montanans are very proud of their state, even when they move out of it. But it bums me out when Montanans leave and out of staters move in. And if a opportunity presents itself that I can't pass up out of state, I will jump on it too. But my whole family is here, has been for generations, and I do sacrifice a chance at bettering my career or salary by staying in state, because I love Montana and my family is very important to me, that if I couldn't see them a couple times a month I wouldn't be the same person I am.nwFL Griz wrote:Since I fall within that category, I'd be pissed at you too. I'm with ya cb. Everybody's got their own priorities. It just so happens that mine have always been being in MT and more specifically Missoula. I've got a couple of friends that couldn't figure out why I was not willing to make really good money by coming to where they were located in Boise and Jackson Hole. Just never seemed worth it to trade living here for money elsewhere.catbob wrote:I'm simply saying I can't be as bonded to a Montanan who does not live in Montana anymore. Re: Griz Goddess Blogs for Make It Missoula...
Thanks for the insight everybody. I have a much better understanding of why some in Montana are the way they are. I consider myself lucky to live and work in the place I love. I've traveled the world and worked at the highest levels of my industry, but chose to return to Spokane for good a couple years ago. Next time I see someone flying the Griz colors, I'll know they feel the same way about their home as I do about mine. Here's to a Griz W this weekend and hopefully another matchup in the postseason.
