You guys basically got run out of the dakotas.

Your relief that you will not have to face UND (and the beating in football they handed you on a regular basis when you played you back in the day) now that they are moving on to the Big Sky (a confernece all NDSU and SDSU fans wanted into 4 years ago) is so obvious. I have never seen someone so affraid of another school as you. It is so bad that UND has become your obession and all here know it. It is really sad. My only hope is now that they are in a different conference and you do not have to worry about getting beat by them on a regular basis you can move on and just be a fan of your team and stop obessing with UND.

Since this seems to be your favorite little guy I thought I would throw in a few for you.

Wow, I had to take a moment to get over that rant from SS. He has no tolerance and is always ad hominen with me. But now that he seems to be through, I didnt read much of it myself, I think we might be able to move ahead Fresno St. Alum.

They are all coming in all-sports. They would rather be out west in a different time zone. They dirtied their nest here in the Dakotas. I dont think there was a place for them with their big bros.

That seemed to be up in the air but if UND cancelled a visit with the Summit then it would seem to point to full membership and I don't know if this is a good thing or not.

No rant, just pointing out the obvious. Everyone who reads all your rants on UND know you are obessed with UND. It seems logical it is because you fear them. Now that there is no chance of them being in a conference with NDSU (a program I really have a great deal of respect for) I am really hoping you can move on. I am also sure I am not the only that is hoping this. Speaking of no tolerance, been banned from any sites lately?

Now slostang, you posted on your own free will. Its a thread about the Big Sky Expansion, but you didn't post on that. You didn't even tie your remarks to that. Why? That's not like you. You are always nice. Always thank you and you guys are good and too bad it didn't go 5 qtrs, you know, good guy stuff.

Im over here talking about Big sky Expansion and giving them fair warning on something I know about. I have a hard line on UND and so do a lot of other NDSU faithful. The UND problems that plagued the NCC and the way they have conducted their institutional relationships may mean nothing to you. It means something here.

This is the best thing that could have happened. I know the Golden Arm Committee is meeting right now on the fate of the Dakota Big 3: NDSU, SDSU and USD. Im afraid of what will happen if USD goes BSC. I sure hope USD isn't expelled until after the Marker Game, but I don't think they are in the running any more anyway. It looks like we are back to the future:

Its all sports! Its a hit on the Summit, but the BSC has really evolved. I think its a good deal for them, outside of travel costs of course.

JBB, I have a question for you. Do I ever get after you when you are not slamming UND? No is the correct answer. If you posted anything other than a back handed slap at UND I would not respond. It gets very old and I am not the only non NDSU/UND poster who thinks so. Hell, there are plenty of NDSU posters who wish you would bypass UND threads. Now that they are in another conference it is time to move on. You move on, I move on. Deal?

I am starting to think this as well. I also think it looks like UND is probably in as well - so it looks like any announcements have been put on hold for the time being to give time to USD to figure out what they're going to do. They're in a tough situation to be sure.

Just going to say about f*****g time that this happened and as an SUU fan i couldnt be more then happier. No longer we will have to rely on an At Large Bid, we will have a shot to get into the playoffs as an AQ for once.

UND isn't in the summit league, so that's not an issue. The bigger issue is with USD, who has committed to the Summit.

Might have already been mentioned, but UND has cancelled their meeting with the SL scheduled for next week and is making an announcement Monday. SUU and UND are definitely in.

Big sky doesn't add anything in these 3 schools and.when Montana goes, itll be nothing.

Und,usd couldn't recruit minn,wisc,ill,Iowa vs NDSU,SDSU. so they are going west. Hahaha, its hilarious, now they can join Montana s. Traditions of scheduling d2 and patsies to get wins against and blow money out the window.

No deal My Good Man, no deal. Your behavior toward me has left me no choice but to acknowledge your character and move on. I have never come after you but you have sought me out since I think D2 days in another name and simply spoken about me in the worst possible terms and encouraged others to do the same. I agree with you Lakes, it has no affect on NDSU and its recruiting at all. Its going to impact the schools out west though. They were already out there because they couldnt get anybody when they went up against NDSU and the other schools so they beat the bushes out west. Now that they are in the BSC they might be able to penetrate those market more and have a greater impact. With the league I think they will do better with the in state kids too.
