Was joking around when I posted that black guy was a racist term.
The lone lib came out of the woodwork to proceed and spew venom about Republicans and GDub.
Well, it didn't take me long to point out that Mr Caring was still carrying a grudge against a man who was President over 2 years ago. Not to mention, I ripped him a new one on the mortgage crisis and what really happened.
Thank you CS.Com for honing my skills and making me the man I am today.

You've made similar statements at least a million times, asshole and you've never been right before.CID1990 wrote:Not sure why it should be a surprise that people who are supposedly more ruled by emotion and empathy would have a higher incidence of personal attacks.

I couldn't find the study. Based on your post it seems like they compared 2010 Dems to 2010 Republicans and 2010 Dems to 2008 Dems.native wrote:According to a Wesleyan University study og 900,000 media airings in 2010, "...Democrats are using personal attack ads at a much higher rate than Republicans and at a much higher rate than Democdrats in 2008..."
The study is subtitled "...Dem Strategy Likely Driven by Desire to Draw Attention Away From the Policy Environment"

Since the 2010 Dems are more desparate then both 2010 Republicans and 2008 Dems the results don't suprise me.
Did they compare 2010 Dems to 2008 Republicans and 2008 Republicans to 2008 Dems?

TWO DEMS SAY OBAMA "PERSISTENTLY PERSONAL"
"...Obama is conducting himself in a way alarmingly reminiscent of Nixon's role in the disastrous 1970 midterm campaign. No president has been so persistently personal in his attacks as Obama throughout the fall. He has regularly attacked his predecessor, the House minority leader and - directly from the stump - candidates running for offices below his own. He has criticized the American people suggesting that they are "reacting just to fear" and faulted his own base for "sitting on their hands complaining." ..."

Re: Dems More Likely to Attack Personally
Of course the dems are relying primarily on attack ads, they sure as hell ain't running on their record of the last 2 years of total control of both the legislative and executive branches or the last 4 years of control of the legislative branch. Makes total sense...

Based on what I've seen the last few years, neither party has a clue on how to fix things. The party in power is always vulnerable, primarily because most voters find that the grass is always greener.
Funny how die hard conks are all over Obama after two years, but they were okay with 8 years of Dubya.

It is also true that a liberal is more likely to be intellectually superior to an conservative - this has been shown over and over again in studies...

Do you ever get the feeling that certain groups benefit from this and it might be by design?BlueHen86 wrote:Based on what I've seen the last few years, neither party has a clue on how to fix things.
