Re: AGS Poll Week 9
How can a team that dominated another be ranked the same? This same team has lost three games to ranked opponents by 10pts.

How is a .500 team at this point in the season still ranked?

Yeah, there are some
here, but once again it is by far the best FCS poll out there so far.

Maybe because a bunch of teams in the lower portion of the poll lost.Gil Dobie wrote:How does a team get into the a poll during a BYE week?
I mean, that'd be the obvious answer, but, you know, Bison fans..
take the joke

it's really unfortunate that penn isn't eligible for the playoffs.. i would love to see them play against more teams.

There have been a couple IVY teams in the past couple years I'd have loved to watch in the playoffs.Fact wrote:it's really unfortunate that penn isn't eligible for the playoffs.. i would love to see them play against more teams.
I'll be honest on this as well....right or wrong I have a hard time ranking IVY teams because of the ineligibility issue. I have had Penn in though.
Re: AGS Poll Week 9
well i'm impressed with the fact that Villanova has really never been able to blow penn out. the penn defense of the past two seasons would be a very good caa defense.clenz wrote:There have been a couple IVY teams in the past couple years I'd have loved to watch in the playoffs.Fact wrote:it's really unfortunate that penn isn't eligible for the playoffs.. i would love to see them play against more teams.

The Ivy would be another MEAC or OVC in the playoffs. One highly ranked team but nary a playoff win.clenz wrote:There have been a couple IVY teams in the past couple years I'd have loved to watch in the playoffs.Fact wrote:it's really unfortunate that penn isn't eligible for the playoffs.. i would love to see them play against more teams.
