What's going to happen?
Repealing Health Care has been a big part of their campaigning. How will they be able to do it with a Democratic Senate and a Democratic President with veto power?
Will they just be positioning for 2012 for the next two years?
Any big initiatives likely?

IF nothing else, it forces the Obamabots to actually COMPROMISE when attempting to ram their socialist platform down America's throats.

Maybe they'll try to balance the budget by sending everyone a tax rebate check!

Maybe, but any attempt to repeal the bill that garners significant public support would put Senate Dems and Obama in a very difficult position. He could still veto but pay a very heavy political price by doing so.89Hen wrote:They won't. Agreed. No major policy initiatives can really come out of just one House of Congress, not when the other party controls the other House and the White House. With that said, no real major policy initiative can come from the other party either without the House of Reps coming along. I would look for very little to get done, other than simple budgetary matters. And that could be a good thing - for the next two years precious little will be done by the government. Maybe a little certainty of the business environment will be a better thing than the past 2 years where changes everywhere were discussed.89Hen wrote:They won't. Gridlock is better than the health care BS that was passed. #1 on my list would be to repeal that POS even if you couldn't get it done, I'd still try.Wedgebuster wrote:Gridlock
