Yup. It will be a little soggy on the golf course tomorrow.
Re: JMU @ UR Game Thread
Slip n slide with a golf cart is ALWAYS fun, especially with alcohol. Main reason why I am no longer allowed on some courses...CAA Flagship wrote:Yup. It will be a little soggy on the golf course tomorrow.
And because I've gotten my cart stuck on a log (carts do NOT jump over obstacles like the Dukes of Hazzard)
And because I've flipped a cart by doing donuts until it rolled over.
And because I'm usually blacked out by about the 15th hole.

How do you measure yourself against other golfers?

Personally: Using just about any club in our bags, I like to unzip, unsheath, then mark my length with a Sharpie on the shaft of the club. I then pass the golf club and the Sharpie to my golfing buddy directly to my right, who will then repeat and pass again until we've determined who's longest. But that's just me...CAA Flagship wrote:How do you measure yourself against other golfers?

All measurements are done on the same club???State Line Liquors wrote:Personally: Using just about any club in our bags, I like to unzip, unsheath, then mark my length with a Sharpie on the shaft of the club. Well there's only one way to make sure the findings are accurate. If it's any consolation, I can assure that the ball washers near the tee boxes where we play are still in good use, for sanitary sake.CAA Flagship wrote:All measurements are done on the same club???State Line Liquors wrote:

I'd be careful, Penthouse is known to hide a Smirnoff Ice or 2 in his wheels of Brie.bandl wrote:I'm a fan of you Richmonders drinking all the Zima you want, only because my FIL's company makes the product that goes into Zima to make it all girly-like. Hmmmm, interesting. Let's see if we can take this a step further...
How about I bring Zima? How do you feel about the taste of Zima on your palate? I find that it really freshens things, while still providing a reasonable amount of alcohol to my bloodstream.
Have you ever enjoyed the benefits of wearing a Sweater-Vest to a game? Isn't it wonderful how the sweater part warms your Core on a crisp fall day like Saturday will be, while allowing less arm constriction than a full sweater?
I hope I'm not coming on too strong...Which will no doubt result in more heathens like myself attending JMU!

Not a fan of the sweater vest, if there is a breeze then my core might still be exposed somewhat. But how do you feel about capri pants?

Got any good courses near you? We had a good golfer at Old Dominion that graduated last year. Eric Onesi is from Bear, DE and won several Delaware state tourneys.State Line Liquors wrote:Well there's only one way to make sure the findings are accurate. By blacking out first?CAA Flagship wrote:How do you measure yourself against other golfers?
By losing the most balls?
And I've wrecked WAY more golf carts than anyone I've golfed with.

I don't take golf seriously. At all. If you can't tell. For me it is just an occasion to frolic outside with my buddies and get blasted beyond all comprehension.
I don't think 89Hen would enjoy playing with me.

This thread completely bites. If that weren't enough, Brie is so passe. Show some character; go with a nice Stilton, perhaps with an impertinant Beaujolais Nouveau.

Tsk. No wondering into our thread and criticizing our tailgating cheese unless a single player on your team has defeated UR in their college career. What? No? Not even the redshirts?

green and gold, maybe you could kick start some dialogue about W&M v UNH? That's the GOTW.
Besides, nobody has commented on the official UR vs. JMU thread since me on Monday.

Its 5 straight, right? Are there anyone with a Medical Redshirt playing a 6th year for the Indians? If so, that guy could have a shot to redeem himself!

Irrelevant, and I'm not being deflected on this. Show that your school has some class. If nothing else, go with a simple artisan goat cheese.ChoppinBroccoli wrote:Tsk. No guests for University administrators allowed either. The President rides solo to the games while his wife watches on Channelsurfing..
