The Ivy's are only willing to play the Patriot League. The PFL would do the same if the Patriot league would allow it.SuperHornet wrote:What all this is telling me is that for the most part, at least the elite Ivies are willing to play playoff conferences, while the PFL generally has not. That experience COULD tell in the playoffs, particularly if they get decent matchups. Stick them against Appy, and they might not do so well. But put them against one of the 7-4/8-3 teams, and they could make some noise.
How would an Ivy team do in the playoffs

I would rate the Ivie's at a similiar level to the Patriot. They would almost always look respectable, even in defeat, and every once in a while one of them might have a nice playoff run.
I think they are ahead fo the MEAC and OVC, but not at the level of the CAA, MVC, Southland, Socon or Big Sky.
Also, the Ivy league would be a one-bid conference.
