So who's more influential in getting DADT overturned: Cindy McCain or Obama? What have either done to get it overturned?

Maybe, maybe not, Joe. What's more to the point, though, is if all of said suicides are related to their orientation. There are many teen suicides over simple bullying and relationship issues (which may or may not be related to a significant other). Just quoting that figure leaves a lot out and implies much that can't be justified by the figure alone.

I sincerely doubt that there over 30,000 teen suicides in the US per year -- no matter what the cause. If there are that many teens committing suicide, something has gone horrifically wrong in this country.

Watching the video again, it is a little confusing, but they say that there are over 30,000 suicides in the United States every year. This follows the statement that there is an epidemic of teen LGBT suicides. The way one statement followed the other, it sounded to me like they were saying that there were over 30,000 teen LGBT suicides.

Jumping to conclusions again, Chizzang?

Recognizing who someone is is NOT the same thing as finding their views worth listening to.

A prime example is Barney Frank. Anyone who observes national politics even a little bit knows who he is, but that doesn't make his views worth listening to.

While she is somewhat past her prime, one should be able to see she was a full blown heater in her day.
