I got it working. had to clean out my cookies and reboot my comp. There were like 9 Windows updates that were needed so I think that is what did it.

And it looks like UM ran away with it here.

It wasn't a runaway. UND fans, I think you may shortly be seeing some Griz fans making excuses. Try not to let them piss you off too much.

no excuses and Reynolds was an animal today. If UND has their starting QB, I honestly think they win the game

another special teams TD given up (actually almost 2)
9-10 penalties.... :ohno:

It was painful to watch. The majority of UND's miscues on 3rd down were due to the QB making bad passes.

I really try to temper my criticism of the coaching, for I know jack-shit, but I am starting to question the skill level right now at the Griz helm.

UGLY win is about all I can say. I keep thinking we have run out of bullets to shoot ourselves with but I guess we used the "reloaded" method a different way this year.

I question the OC. This scenario happened about 6 times today: 3rd & 1, 2, 3 and we either pitch the ball back 7-8 yards deep and require the running back to gain 11 yards to gain 2, or we throw a pass 25 yards downfield when all we needed was 2.

The special teams were no better. We absolutely DOMINATED their offense, yet this game was still in question with 5 minutes to go.

The OC and the special teams coach need to go. ASAP.

This.

They put the halftime stats up on Griz Vision, and they read something like:
Score:
UM UND
13 10
Total Offense
UM UND
240 66

UND's starting QB was terrible. He went 6/23 for 29 yards & I don't think he was even close on any pass beyond 5 yards.

The Griz run the Swinging Gate on PATs. If the QB sees that the defense isn't ready, he's supposed to have the team get set on the side hash (without "swinging" over to the FG look) and snap the ball for an "easy" deuce. It's an on-the-field decision not unlike a lot of Montana's fake punts under Hauck.

The resulting play was unfortunate in that McKnight appeared to have an easy dive into the endzone, but the defender hit him and knocked the ball out while McKnight was in midair over the half-yard line. If he holds on to the ball, the Griz get the 2.

Either way, it was a dumb call by whoever made it.

Why? The thing was wide open. No-one could really anticipate that McKnight would have such a poor grip on the ball that a weak hit from the non-ball side would cause a fumble. Like I said, the fumble was the only thing preventing a successful conversion (after losing the ball, McKnight landed 2 yards deep in the endzone).

I'm sure there are situations where the coach tells the PAT team not to go for 2 no matter what, but a two-score lead in the first half is not one of those.

Ranger, going for two was weird but not as weird as the 4th and 1 call a few minutes later. Griz have 4th and about a foot. They go for it, which was fine, but instead of handing off to Chase or calling a dive, they have Roper drop back 6-7 yards to pass. Keep in mind that they only needed a foot. And Roper then gets sacked 6-7 yds behind the line of scrimmage, handing the ball over to UND 7-8 yards into our half of the field. That was f***ing awesome.

Roper has the worst footwork of any QB I've watched play in the last 15 years. Dude tripped over his OWN feet at LEAST 5 times yesterday. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

I was not big on him coming in last year because his footwork was so terrible as far as setting it for a pass but at least he wasn't tripping over his won feet last year.

This team really misses Andrew Selle. Swogger had the big arm but was very inaccurate, but his accuracy looks like Joe Montana compared to Roper. I'm also really surprised, after blowing JJ's redshirt (which was a mistake in the first place), that he hasn't taken more snaps at QB. What was the point?

Same here I don't get it. I suppose we've been in too many close games to warrant more of a test but when he is in he seems to pretty much just hand it off to Chase anyway. He must not be showing enough to inspire confidence with the staff so far but considering what we're looking at JJ better really improve or we're in trouble next year too.

We really seem to lack discipline all over the place as well. None of this is gonna straighten out this year but I hope there is a big improvement in our weak areas for next year.

There was at least three times where he got flushed out and tripped over his own feet. At one point I burst out laughing in the bar....it was embarrassing.

I'm not ready to bail on Pflu and his staff just yet, but it is obvious that this team is not as tough or as disciplined as it was under Hauck. I still believe the Griz will beat the cats, and if they play well may even win a playoff game. This is a tough team to get a handle on. They are committing way to many penalties and are way to inconsistent on O this late in the season. They should have all that shit cleaned up after 10 games.

That being said, I STILL BELIEVE!!!!!! GO GRIZ!!!
