NDSU is reporting paid attendance plus students who picked up their ticket and went to the game. It isn't a lie, nobody ever claimed the numbers to be actual.

Cap'n Cat, I can't agree more about the phantom attendance...when they announced the attendance at the YSU ISU game I was like...uhhhh and we wonder why we have the lowest attendance figures???? maybe it's because we don't add a couple thousand to the attendance totals...

To be fair, if Indiana State added a couple thousand people would know that was a lie without having to see the stadium.

Adding a 2 or 3 thousand to the total for ISU normally triples the actual attendance. That would be noticable.

Tis true but it's a work in progress...it doesn't help that everyone else adds 2 thousand lol...I Just hope we start filling up what we have so eventually when we build a new stadium it will be a little larger...

Not everyone adds numbers like YSU does.

YSU is by far the worst at it.

I know for a fact when it comes to football numbers UNI is pretty dang accurate.

According to the NDSU board they announce seats sold, not actual attendance.

The others I don't know about.

Clenz I just was wondering at the ISU game this saturday they announced the attendance and every fan in the ISU section that was suprisingly large turned the heads and went "WHA?????????????????"

Yeah, they are bad. A couple years ago we played there on their homecoming. They announced something like 17K, but from every one that was there I hear there wasn't more than 5K in the stands that day.

Earlier this year when we played there they announced about 17K again, and from looking photos there couldn't be more than 8K there

It's sad to see what the program was, and to see what it is now.

I think they will get it turned around but man...it's tough to watch some times.

That crowd was a good count of both seat sold and butts in the seat.

NDSU always does a paid. There are just under 10,000 season ticket holders so there will never be a crowd smaller than that. 12,000 is about as small as it can get.

I was at the game and IMHO I'd say there was somwhere between 14-15k in attendance.

There is no reason that every seat there for the Marker game shouldn't have been filled. Either way if we win next weekend and host a first round game those seats will be filled and if they aren't CapnCat AKA "Lover of the Bison Man JUNK" will be offered a meal in Fargo the next time he's in town to Fellatiate all the Bison Fans.

earlier in the season, when the Herd looked to be headed south with no hope, a lot of people may have changed their plans and committed to something else. Hunting is of course the prime example, but there are other types of weekends and events too. Maybe a lot of the walkup got sick of it and are just now starting to come back?

Right now average attendance is going to be under 17,000, I didnt check but my guess is about 16,700 or so.

We did about 55,000 for the first three games and about 44,500 for last 3.
