Other effects are from much more subtile to unnoticable.
These are not undesireable effects.

Really? Because that's a big reason you can produce beer and wine at home... but, not hooch.89Hen wrote:The simplicity of pot isn't much of an arguement jelly.Skjellyfetti wrote:

You're wrong, Hen, again. You're a pot smoker and we all know it. It's like masturbation, we say we don't do it, but........

No. Y'all had kids. Which made you crotchety, uptight old fucks.AZGrizFan wrote: We grew up.

No, you're not.clenz wrote:So....apparently I'm the only person on this board who hasn't smoked pot?
Good to know. At least I've never had to worry about failing a drug test

I stopped smoking pot at 23. I didn't have my first kid until 32.Skjellyfetti wrote:No. Y'all had kids. Which made you crotchety, uptight old fucks.AZGrizFan wrote: We grew up.

That's what I was thinking too. A high percentage of chronic users are self medicating for conditions like ADD so they are going to naturally test worse for mental function. Besides the list of sheer geniuses who smoked blows this study out of the water. Carl Sagan felt it helped his intellect.JohnStOnge wrote:Not a controlled experiment. Therefore no cause and effect inference can legitimately be made. Doesn't matter if the researchers are "Harvard affliated" or not. Case closed.
And people really should stop even doing studies like this unless they are going to clearly state that, at best, the results should only be viewed as suggesting that a controlled experiment should be conducted. Instead, a very aggressive cause and effect statement is made.
As I've said many times before: I love science. Science is a wonderful process. But scient-TISTS are becoming more and more of a problem due to their absense of discipline.

Cancer is easier to study than intellect. If you still smoked you might be smart enough to understand.AZGrizFan wrote:kalm wrote:

And people who smoke cigarettes for 80 years and live to 100 doesn't mean cigarettes don't cause cancer.![]()
