I would add JMU (if there was not construction on the stadium going on this year), UNI, GA Southern and Florida A&M to the upper tier of bidders for home games. Maybe MT State. UNI gets lumped in there simply from the fact that they know how to play the bidding game.
True but I think NDSU could bid right with those teams.

NDSU is definately in the mix. SEMO has an average attendance of about 50-60% of NDSU (or UNI)

For those that have not seen the Bison play - think of the prototypical Chicago Bears teams. Stout defense, with an ugly offense that scores enough to get it down (when they do).

MO ST is much like the 2000 St Louis Rams, all offense.

If I can find it to view online, it will be an interesting clash of philosophies.

If the Bison D that showed up last week and knocked the shiat out of SDSU returns, we win. Not by alot as MSU is potent.

Just hoping for a good injury free game to end the regular season!!

*****FROM THE LOCKER ROOM*****
"Jose Mohler is the man. He is a good QB performing well. The BISON are on a winning streak. Football is a game of redemption. Jose is still looking to get the Illinois State game back. We will be fine. If we have a complete collapse we can think about a change."
*****END*****

The NDSU Defense is playing physical football at a level rarely if ever seen in Fargo.

The MVFC is a tough league. I'd rather have an improving BISON team, playing tough, playing rough and looking to get better than a plateaued rhythm team like UNI.

I think MSU is in a "state of collapse". Last week the lots were quiet. No game talk. Why? NDSU fans and the Football Conglomerate were confident of victory. Its the same now. Big MSU fan, runs the board you know, could care less? Cappy absolutely overboard at the prospect of BISON success?

The BISON are ready to go. The Book of BISON LORE is open to the page. Its blank now.

If you want to talk playoffs multiply your capacity by $25. Ours is $480,000.

Right now Fargo and the surrounding counties are ready. We all thought last week was a big game. This week is the biggest game of the season, almost.
The NDSU BISON have their best football ahead!!
This is a BIZON UPRIZEN!!

Our scheme is Tampa 2 which means bend but don't break, limit the big plays and bring pressure on the QB with our front four.

If you look at our defense we are limiting the points our opponents scores, getting pressure on the QB and forcing turnovers. So yeah I think we have one of the top defense in the country. Look at the league we play in, lots of teams can put points on the scoreboard in a hurry.

You must not have read my full post....because I say you are doing a good job with Scoring Defense and Turnovers. You have a good defese. You are right over 20pts a game in conference...which is good in the Valley where teams score on average 31pts against conference. You defense is the reason you have the record you do because your offense scores the least against your conference teams by far.

And the tampa 2 is a good defense but has holes and can be exploited. A team with a great play action game will kill a tampa 2 defense in the middle of the field because the there will be the void there left by the middle backer.

I read your post, I was just saying our scheme does allow the opponent to gain some yards. Yes, we are a bit vulnerable over the middle(especially if a team has a good TE), I remember when MSU had Clay Harbour he killed us.

Some of our defensive numbers did take a hit when Matt Gratzek our three technique DT was knocked out for three games during conference play. He is a our Warren Sapp or Kevin Williams or Tommie Harris of our defense. Since he returned our defense has been dominant.

This is a tough one to call - the fact that MSU gave up 41 to a crippled SIU offense makes me think Bison.

The fact that the Bison could only find one offensive TD against an SIU defense that was in even worse shape than the offense makes me think maybe not so much Bison. :?

For sure the SIU defense, hurt or not, is not among the worst in the nation, as is the MSU defense.

All the BISON needed to beat SIU was one TD and an extra point. Remember, they held SIU to a grand total of 6 pts.

This guy has Stony Book at NDSU in an opening round playoff game but the BISON have to win Saturday.

Looking at that link a little closer it has SEMO @ UNI second round, both getting byes.

Soonest SEMO or UNI could meet NDSU in that dream world is the finals.

Actually WIU held us to a hundred fewer yards than NDSU did.

Thats the point. You got 100 more yards against NDSU but 14 fewer points. NDSU has only allowed 3 TDs in the last 3 games. SIU only got 2 FGs.

Its a defense that plays better than than the stats. Only 16 TD allowed this season. Thats the stat to watch. Look at tackles for a loss and sacks. Turnovers are interesting too.

Number one reason I hate UNI. It has nothing to do with them dominating the MVFC or them cheap shotting our running back into a wall at our place. It has everything to do with that you have a UND... pardon me, a "That school from up North" alum coaching your team. Only smart one to get out of that horrid town.
Um...Mark Farley went to school at UNI...was a captain of the 1985 semi final team with THE cap'n cat.

If you are referring to our basketball coach, Ben Jacobson, yes he did go to UND. He also coached at NDSU. So...you hated NDSU for a short time as well?
