Glad somebody else said it first.
Montana fans, your homer vote doesn't count. Those of us who have no interest in this will decide what's coolest.
Wait a minute. That mustard yellow rebar around the bottom is actually part of the trophy? I thought it was part of the cart/table it was sitting on in the other picture.

It shouldn't take 3 or 4 guys (o-lineman none-the-less) to carry a fucking rivalry trophy.
Who makes these rules, anyway?
It's in the rivalry trophy handbook. Section VII, Paragraph 3, Subparagraph IV, Subsection (c).
No rivalry trophy shall be so big that more than 2 offensive linemen are required to carry said trophy in an upright and locked position. Any trophy that does not meet these ECB requirements shall be deemed invalid for rivalry trophy purposes.
Look it up, retard.

My mistake. I'll be sure to defer to cleanse on these matters in the future.
I wish Weber had a football rivalry that had a trophy.
Our Rivalry with Idaho State (The Border War) is about as good as it gets for us. And its pretty good for us Weber fans as Weber leads the series 36-14. Its too bad Weber doesnt win more often against Montana (13-37), that would also be a decent rivalry game, as no 2 teams have played Weber more than Montana (50) and ISU (50).
Im hoping with the addition of SUU into the Sky, Weber and SUU could get a big instate rivalry thing going now that BYU and Utah have gone thier seperate ways. Call the rivalry the Civil War, (North vs South) and fight for a Golden Spike Trophy or something, that would be sweet.

[tangent] reminds me of that shot of Cristie Kerr celebrating with her trophy after winning a golf tournament.
perspective can be funny at times.

Love your Great Divide trophy! Timeless design and patina for sure!!
Not gonna say we've got the best looking trophy, but it has a great story behind both the rivalry and the trophy. Designed and built by the students themselves. As you can see, both Cal Poly and Davis share a Mustang as their mascot (Musty and Gunrock). The Golden Horseshoe was perfect!! I designed a horseshoe pit for my backyard to honor the game.
