If they are truly out of the west, it won't matter much, as the west stand will block. If they are actually coming out of the NW, like the URI game, that'll funnel a gale across the field and tamper the passing, especially when moving S to N.

Whitney runs a reverse, then throws to a wide open running back in the end zone.
