Interesting -- not sure you can go with North Dakota State after their performance today (and S0S 0f 94). I went with UCA for beating McNeese in their 'play-in' game:

Central Arkansas just doesn't have the resume. I would guess that we would see Liberty, Montana, or Jacksonville in before UCA.

Liberty and NDSU have better records and a FBS win. Montana has that $$$$.If a 6 win team gets in, it's the Griz.

As well as Jacksonville has played as of late, Their 'Big Win" is Old Dom, and strength of schedule is essentially that of UCA -- opponents with a 45-46% winning percentage. Wasn't really impressed with them today against Campbell.

Liberty has beat G-W (#117), VMI (#86), Stony Brook (#110), Presbyterian (Not rated- LOL), CSU (#78), a 1-10 NEC team (St. Francis) and a 1-10 MEAC team (Savanah St.). They lost to CCU (#115 - the game that would have got them in the playoffs)

At 7-4, I doubt GSU would get a first round bye. I expect them to host a first round game against Coastal or a MEAC team.

Sitting in Macomb yesterday, next to the WIU band, watching the "game", got me thinking.
(and since you prognosticated WIU to be hosting a playoff game, I'll share my thoughts here).

I remembered there being a clause in the playoff procedures about the home team's band (and student section) could not be behind the visiting team's bench.

So I looked it up:

For all playoff contests, the visiting team’s bench (between the 25-yard lines) shall not
be placed in front of the home team’s student section or band, unless there is a track around
the playing field (or the equivalent distance between the team’s bench and seating area). If
the visiting team’s bench is near the home team’s student section, that student-section must
begin at least 10 rows back from the front row of the seating area.

So I guess if they do host, they won't have to change their setup due to them having a track.
