Even taking the 6 win teams out, there are still a number of teams that would have gotten in over SCST.
And the brackets would have looked way different.
BCU and SEMO would have been playing this weekend for sure.

When will this week's GPI come out?
Can we please stop referring to the GPI as some sort of playoff predictor?
Human polls all had it much more accurate then the GPI this year.
We can stop referring to the GPI for anything IMO. For years they took the AGS Poll, which was the most accurate poll since its inception, and added a bunch of garbage to make a worse ranking.

Perhaps our eight-game, much more difficult conference schedule had something to do with it?
Tougher? Yes. Much tougher? No. The CAA was the best conference, but not by that much. The Hens also got to duck one of the CAA's playoff teams (UNH).
Delaware had one of the weakest non-conference schedules of any power conference team (West Chester, SDSU, Duquesne) and wasn't on a roll coming into the playoffs. Delaware had 2 FCS losses while SFA, EWU, MSU, App & Wofford each only had 1.
The playoffs should be interesting, I do hate that EWU and MSU are on the same side of the bracket. If we are both able to win our first playoff games and meet in the quarters it will be quite a battle.
The Eagles defense is fast and hard hitting and Mitchell is now in sync with his receivers. It would be a heck of a rematch in Bozeman and worth the price of admission.
