Who lost to Boise State (WAC - non BCS) who just lost to Nevada (same as Boise). What's the point of the reply again?

Anywho. Will be watching this game next week (if my pc doesn't get pissy and loose the connection) Good luck to both teams.

Ya know, some of you sound just like Gee
Only the FCS has a playoff, so your team gets to prove on the field that it's not worthy.

I expect this to be a tough game. Lehigh hasn't lost in two months and they usually play well against the Hens.

I know what you're trying to say, 86, but that's not QUITE true. Playoffs exist at EVERY level of football EXCEPT for NCAA FBS. National-level playoffs exist at FCS, D-II, D-III, NAIA, Arena, CFL, and NFL.

But your point about proving worthiness on the field is certainly a propos.

If you take my statement, in conjunction with the bolded statement in the post before mine, it's clear that I'm responding to another post. Taking my post out of context and then correcting it is so trite. :geek:

Besides, it was a joke, your attempt at explaining shows a lack of a sense of humor on your part. It's clear that SH doesn't stand for SuperHumor. :)

This game is no cakewalk. From what I saw yesterday Lehigh has speed on the D side, #12 is a dual threat and improvises well. Combined with a history between the 2 schools, a short 1hr-45min bus ride and a ton of confidence, Lehigh will give the Hens all they want. KC better preach 1-0 this week because looking ahead would spell UNI type trouble.

It will take a very serious case of the Hens sleeping-in to lose this one. Both teams play at or near their best and the Hens win going away.

I do think this is a much better Lehigh team than the one that got their feathers clipped by 2 sets of Wildcats.

You and I understood what was going on.

I'm not sure about SH. He's either a comic genius (and the jokes is on me) or he's got no sense of humor. Either way, one of us is laughing at the other.

According to the NCAA website TV/Internet is as follows:

Delaware-Lehigh.....................................NCAA......12pm
UNH-Bethune.........................................unknown....1pm
J State-Wofford......................................ESPN3.....12pm
Bill & Mary-GA Southern.............................NCAA.....130pm
App State-Western Illinois..........................ESPN3......12pm
SFA-'Nova.............................................ESPN3.....330pm
Eastern Washington-SEMO..........................NCAA........4pm
Montana State-NDSU.................................ESPN3.......2pm

No national TV unless someone has plans for game 2 above. As far as local TV I'm sure there will be some stations that pick up coverage. NCAA and ESPN3 are online streaming. I didn't fare too well with the NCAA site so I used http://fcsfootball.yolasite.com today with no problems. I don't know if it streams the 3. Can't wait 'til next Saturday.
Very likely the game will be televised by WFMZ, Channel 69 out of Allentown, PA.

Could this week be going by any slower? Jeezis I wish Saturday would hurry up and get here. This bye stuff sure makes for two long weeks. I can only imagine how long it's going to seem waiting three weeks between the semis and the final.

The forecast winds have dropped a bit from that now to 14 mph out of the NW. It seems like most of the games in the second half of the season had a pretty stiff wind out of the W or NW. We should be OK if it stays below 20. Anything more and I'd be concerned it would make us one-dimensional.

A quick check of Ticketmaster just now shows tickets available (albeit high up) at the home 35 yard line (section E). I'm guessing this will be far short of a sellout. ~15K is my guess.

Not shocking - the game got 16k back in 2000 when Lehigh brought in a better team and the game was expected to be competitive (didn't end up that way). But with the cold weather expected (high of 42) and a UD rout expected as well, there won't be the buzz the game had 10 years ago.
