Yes we do know. He only recently started peppering his "act" with the traces of humor and over the topedness so as to hide his true personality. He just splashes it a little so don't be conned by the subterfuge. Yes, I made mention of his new found humor quite a while back and the fact that all he did was (wisely) give himself an opportunity to have an out when someone blasts his nonsense to hell.houndawg wrote:He's serious about what he says but he got laughed off so many threads that he's adopted this schtick in a "I wasn't really serious, my half-witted jabber was always intended as humor" kind of way. He got his teeth kicked in a few times in the off season with some of his NDSU move up and TV markets talk and that prompted the change in tactics I assume.
He's also dosing it with a sappy, over the top writing style to make everything seem dramatic.
It's astonishingly mediocre and it may not sound like it but I mean that in a good way. I have to read it.

Re: NDSU BISON* @ Montana State Bobcats
You are wrong. The Cats were piss pounded by NAU 34-7. We were beat by the Cats 30-7. Which has even less relevancy to this game than NDSU getting beat 3-0 by a 5-6 Missouri State team. Your team couldn't even move the ball far enough down the field to get in range for a fucking field goal!!!! You really want to compare NDSU to EWU? Our only two losses have come to FBS Nevada who just beat #4 (3) Boise, and MSU, a playoff team who is about to send your beloved buffalo over the cliff and out of the playoffs. We've won 7 straight.TheHerd wrote:Maybe I am wrong, but didn't you get piss pounded by the cats like 34-7??Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:THE bison WILL LOSE.
Fact of the matter is, the bison will likely lose to MSU. I hope that you guys do beat them, because I would much rather EWU have another home game against an inferior team to the one we will likely have to go on the road and face again. No matter the outcome of the NDSU/MSU game, as long as we take care of business against SEMO, we will be playing one of you, and it will be with a healthy Taiwan Jones, and a quarterback who is making much better decisions now than he was when we lost 30-7 (8 games ago), having tossed 8 TDs to only 1 INT in the last month (3 games). Check yo'self before you wreck yo'self.

Yes, I brought up the word tradition and I didn't go into because Willie is a tool (at least when it comes to NDSU) and quite honestly didn't think most would really care since it started back in the DII days so quit building it up to be more than anyone made it out to be.Ursus A. I didn't bring it up and I damn sure ain't building it up. You did see where I compared it to taking a piss right? Re: NDSU BISON* @ Montana State Bobcats
If we get by MSU, I look forward to playing at EWU's stadium. Looking at the pictures of EWU's stadium, it doesn't look very big at all. What is the capacity? It looks like playing at Fargo North high school minus the red turf.
Game prediction
Bison 28
MSU 16
MSU will have upper 300's to 400 yards offensive, but we will limit them to 3 fg's and a touchdown. Defense and specail teams will win this game for the Bison. If we can run the ball and kill the clock, i really like our chances. We have won by creating to's this year. We will have to win the turnover battle on saturday.

In case you didn't know, your football team has to play the other football team, not their stadium.

Got it, and if you say he's a good guy then I believe it. The reason Willie and others take delight in ripping the Bison is to keep the Bison fans from feeling overly great about themselves in what they build things up to be. Exactly. It's like thinking you're the best or one of the best employees at a new job, based upon your performance at your last job. Your boss and employees don't give a shit what you've done previously, they only care about the quality of your performance as it relates to them. Sure, you've bought your boss a nice new leather chair and scratched his back a little (beating a couple of weak FBS programs), but you've also been caught with your pants around your ankles while on top of the copier and taking excessive lunch breaks (3-8 last year, and losing to WIU and Illinois State this year). Win employee of the year first before you think you're anything special.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:Got it, and if you say he's a good guy then I believe it. Damn I think I hit a nerve with screamineagle about the cats beat down of the eagles! He got all wound up and made a flurry of posts about the greatness of EWU. EWU has a good team and should get by SEMO....they are a OVC team...not the greatest playoff resume. On the other hand do I think EWU is vastly better than MSU or NDSU....NO.
