The thread is simply another stepping stone scremineagle74, but you are starting to get into the spirit!

LOL. I dont want to get into a pissing match with you gotts. I am stating fact and talking football. You should go piss in that creek the Montana Boys were talking about.

What people rely on is their own business. If they rely on UND folk God help them. If they rely on me for indications and insights into the fortunes of the NDSU Football Conglomerate and divining the future prospects of the Mighty BISON they are way ahead of the game. Detractors, such as yourself, are just background noise to the truth.

Alpha, is that you disguised in a Bison skin..... ;)

Good stuff!!! Now you have the spirit!!!

Im the bankers. UAH has the "deal". :D (hope he enjoys the humor as much as I do brother)

A lot has been said about this game. Some have digressed and changed the topic to something that has no relevance to Saturdays contest. Its a game that will roll across the prairies.

Breakout advantage: MSU

As the BISON move westward and convergence on Bozeman the drama will rise. There is a sense of upset in the air. The BISON are in ascension. They have appeared. Tomorrow is a key day. The BISON will depart Fargo on Friday. Thursday will see the implementation of the "travel plan". That will focus on three key elements:

1) Proper frame of mind. The team and coaches have to be comfortable with the challenge. Postitive, respectful and confident.

2) Special assignments. There are certain challenges the Cats present. It all starts with McGhee. As goes McGhee so go the Cats.
Denarius McGhee #1 in the BSC in total offense and passing average/game. #2 in pass efficiency
3) Mental preparation for physical battle. NDSU is the most physical team the MSU Bobcats have faced.

For the contingent on the road:

1) Rally where the spirit is high. Rally at the Rainforest.
2) Sportsmanship at the highest level is tradition. Tradition doesn't graduate.
3) Buy some concessions. Their program is kind of broke.

&&&&&&
Montana State Website stats page is down. They tried to hack the Conglomerates archives of BISON Lore.

I'm sorry here wingnut, I wasn't going to respond to anything you say but do you really believe that Weber, EWU and um are NOT pretty physical teams? I watched your game last week and will say that NDSU is a physical team, but its not like we dont have the same thing in the Big Sky. I believe that you are just saying it in the hopes that we will just be scared of you, well our OL has gone up against better and prevailed at the end of the day, Our DL is as tough and scrappy as any you will find. Get over it and move on to something new.

I guess I just don't get it, when he brings up "physical" several times, the Big sky is a pretty physical conference, at least as much so as the MVC IMO. Also we went into Wazzu and have played Big 10, Big 12 teams. I just don't get that NDSU is going to be more "physical" than any team we have played. Michigan State was a pretty "physical" team we played last year and our guys just dont get scared by that. Maybe that is all hes got to go with I dont know, but I guess i give their team more credit than that.

I don't get it either but it is a theme with some of their fans: Lost by 3 TDs? Yeah but we beat the stuffing out of them. We were much more physical.

That some genetic traits become magnified in isolated populations at remote locations with long, cold, dark winters and frequent inbreeding is my guess, but I don't have the scientific expertise to say for sure.

It's the same idea that the SLC used to promote all the time with their "We have much more team speed out there on the field that you guys in the XXX conference do and that's gonna haunt you on gameday".

It was mostly McNeese guys and SHSU guys that were always touting that but I saw a little bit of it last year from some SFA fans so once it gets bandied about a little and it becomes something that a fanbase can hold on to for hope it really perpetuates itself.

No matter how silly it looks to you when you watch the games.

I know that strength and conditioning have been a major focus for EWU this year, not just in the off-season but continuing all the way through. Perhaps we've closed the physicality gap a bit with the MVC. ;)
