SEMO @ #5 EWU
Re: SEMO @ #5 EWU
Different offensive styles, hard to say really. Harris is a more traditional RB. TJ wouldn't be able to get as many carries a game as he does IMO.

Don't know if this has been brought up already, but your thread title "SEMO @ #5 EWU" is misleading. From what I have read, EWU jumped to #1. They are the fifth seed however.

Re: SEMO @ #5 EWU
We're #5 in our minds, because that's the seed we got. Rankings don't matter at our level. We have a real championship in FCS, so the only ranking that matters is the one at the end of the year.ArmyOfDarkness wrote:Don't know if this has been brought up already, but your thread title "SEMO @ #5 EWU" is misleading. Very true, but being recognized as the best team in the country deserves some accolades. No shame in promoting it IMO.
Kick SEMO a$$ today Eags

A lot has been mentioned about Harris and Jones in this one. Not much about receivers......
Here's a short clip of #1 Brandon Kaufman, he's 6'5" and has emerged as Eastern's go to receiver this year.

I've got two words (okay, seven syllables) for you: Chantae Ahamefule (Shon-tay Ah-ha-MUR-fuh-luh)

Re: SEMO @ #5 EWU
All I meant is that we haven't discussed receivers much. I see SEMO's got a giant receiver of their own. 6'6 no less. I see that Ahamefule has only one receiving TD this year, but also understand that SEMO hardly passes the ball at all. Is he a burner or more of a physical receiver?GoSE wrote:"Not much about receivers......"

Kaufman's got some serious size, but as you saw in that clip he can also really stretch the secondary with his speed. Also, he presents some serious mis-match problems for smaller db's. I'd say the majority of his TD's this year have been jump balls in the end zone where BLM has put the ball where only BK could catch it.
As you probably saw in the clip, he also plays with reckless abandon.

Exxxxxactly! EWU is the REAL #1 in the nation. If you guys have any questions about the seeding, refer to my interview with the NCAA i posted.ArmyOfDarkness wrote:Don't know if this has been brought up already, but your thread title "SEMO @ #5 EWU" is misleading. Chantae is pretty fast, likely the fastest of our receivers, but he has not been thrown to very often.
Also have Miles Edwards at 6'3".

To all the SEMO fans we've interacted with the past couple of weeks - here's to a great game with no injuries to either team. Shouldn't be BSC refs, so we should be good in the officiating department!
Good luck to both schools.

Better hope they aren't MVC refs.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Re: SEMO @ #5 EWU
These SEMO annoucers are horrible.
That incompletion is on the receiver, he should have stayed in bounds and jumped 20 feet to catch that one.
Really?
Thanks for that expert analysis
