There is also that fact that just because UNI has won 40 straight matches, that doesn't make the league weak.

Of course it does. Just like Penn State having won 67 straight matches in the Big Ten going into this season made that league weak. :lol:

Check one mid major down. Tonight Portland State went down in flames 3-0 againt Hawaii. 2 of the 3 sets were close - it was a respectable loss.

LOL. UNI is the first #5 seed to be knocked out of the tournament in the first round -- and it happened on their home court. Pretenders.

Penn was knocked out in straight sets against Ohio U. Fullerton is done too, in 5 sets against Colorado State :(
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

I was a little surprised and disappointed to see Fullerton lose to Colorado St. It was my first bracket error.

In all fairness to Fullerton, they never "pretended" to be the #5 seed and they didn't lose on their home court.
