Is that defense a dream come true for a West Coast Offense that hasn't had to open the play book for a while because the running game has been on fire?

EWarshington defense has given up some passing yds:

235 yds passing to Sac State

443 yds passing to SUU

More like we've given up a shitload of passing yards. Our secondary hasn't been stellar (SUU picked us apart), but part of that is a function of playing in a pass-happy conference.

One wouldn't think so, but this may actually be relevant since I expect NDSU to try to challenge EWU through the air quite a bit more than they did against MSU and RMU.

NDSU doesn't seem to go vertical a lot, but when they do pass the ball, it looks like it's a lot of screens to that quick RB you have.

NDSU runs a nice west coast "Quick Strike" offense. Its there in reserve and Saturday may be the day we see it blossom.

You can bet NDSU likes to run and you can also bet that Coach Bohl doesnt open the playbook any more than he has too. Thats why we saw only 5 passes against MSU. There was no need to pass in order to set-up the run. The run was there all day.

Mohler is a wonderful short to mid range passer. Screens, crossing patterns, naked boots, its all there in reserve.

I don't think I've seen any 30 or 40 point predictions at Bisonville. Most Bison fans think we will win, but then again most EWU fans think they will win. One EWU fan did get Bison fans worked up, calling our running back average and predicted an easy win for EWU because they handled SEMO and SEMO had more all-conference players than NDSU had.

I fully expect this game to be close, as do most Bison fans I've talked to.

There is no "prediction" thread on Bisonville yet, keep your eyes open for one in the near future though. I have seen three predicted scores on other various threads so far........31-20, 37-24, and 27-13 all Bison predicted victories.
