Not only that but the fans moved over to the endzone which is also cheating.

These kinds of tactics will not be tolerated and they will pay for this in the future.
Death penalty for sure.

They will wish they got off as easy as SMU did

The attorneys must be there to sue the defense for not stopping us on the final drive when we couldn't complete jack shit.

Good luck with that! Not the first time a questionable call has occured in a game, I'm sure the courts really want to start getting involved in overturning referee decisions at sporting events.

The NDSU fan base is clearly displaying their good sportsmanship.  :ohno: :ohno:

Congrats to EWU. JBB, shut up, you sound like a Sioux fan talking about getting a legal team involved. Yes, I know it's part of your character on here and you're just messing around but come on dude come up with something better than that will you. Again, congrats to EWU, not going to get into the replays, ect but at the end of the day NDSU had their chances to ice things and they didn't. Good luck the rest of the way.

Here's something funny....I turned off the TV when there was about 1:20 left in the game (and I think EWU was on about the 50 yard line).

I missed the "official review" so can someone who saw it clarify the language the ref used for me.

Did he say "The ruling on the field stands"

OR

Did he say "The ruling on the field is confirmed"

There is a big difference in the two terms, and a good set of officials knows the difference and when to use each.

The only way EWU has a chance is if Jones is healthy. He is the best RB in the nation, even NDSU's vaunted run defense was no match. Without him not only will EWU lose but they will get beat down. They do have one person who could potentially neutralize Scuzar's running, and that is their awesome LB Sherrit. He is unreal.

With Jones my prediction

Queer-a-Nova- 31
EWU-20

without Jones
Queer-a-Nova-48
EWU-14

I hope I am wrong because EWU has been damn good all season, but Nova looks so dominant right now.

Ah, perfect.

That means the officials don't feel as though they had enough evidence to overturn the call, but they don't have enough to say that it was the right call with 100% certainty. Long story short short, there wasn't indisputable evidence to overturn the call so the call stood.

If they had enough evidence to prove the call was correct they would have gone with "The call on the field is confirmed".

So they may have, in their own way, admitted the call may have been wrong but they can't prove it based on what they were given.

I saw the play live and as soon as I saw the initial ruling I left the computer to go eat so I didn't see any replays or anything so I can't really comment beyond this post as to if it was the correct call or not.

Jones is good, but if you tackle him once, he's done for the game. I've never seen a back that is that big of a pussy.

EWU problem is that their passing game is worse than NDSU's. Their receivers are tall but can't catch for shit. The QB is terrible too. If Jones plays against nova, EWU has a chance. If he gets tackled once or twice he'll curl up in the fetal position and call it a day.

I give credit where credit is due, #4 and #98 are damn good players for EWU.

Its a shame that another game has to be played at Roos Field. Terrible atomosphere. How is EWU even D1? Division 3 schools in MN get more fan support than the Eagles.

Good Luck against Nova. After watching all the games this weekend, it's gonna be tough for anybody to beat them in my opinion. Delaware didn't impress me on friday, but I thought Nova looked damn good.

By beating teams like NDSU in conditions that favor NDSU while having 5 turnovers.

Sore fucking loser. :ohno:

How did those conditions favor NDSU. They may be from Fargo...but...they play in a "dome". It's more of a mall/arena but you get the idea.

Cold aint shit if you live in it. NDSU is used to cold weather. The game favored NDSU because it was sleeting and made the field a slippery mess and hard to pass. The conditions favored a running team. NDSU had this all world offensive line and the power running game, but yet they couldn't get it done when the chips were down.

Because they rely on running the ball, which is better suited than passing in a driving snow storm.

I don't think any team is gonna be afraid of EWU's passing game. I would put it on the level of NDSU's passing game. The only difference is EWU's receivers are taller and look more athletic. However, receivers are supposed to catch the ball.

If TJ can play next week EWU has a chance, if TJ can't play they are in serious trouble.

And it didn't help EWU at all cause they are more of a skipping team right?

Good luck, Eagles! Looks like you'll have your hands full with Nova.

Sounds like it was a fun game to watch. I was caught up in other things so just tried to catch the score or the GDT every once in a while.

Let's do it again next year! :thumb:
